Default 9/11

I am curious as to how many others dreamed about the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. The morning of 9/11 I was dreaming that I was in a hospital in New York preparing for burn patients but they were not coming in. I woke up screaming that something heavy duty was going down in N.Y. and ran to turn the TV on. I turned it on just in time to see the second plane hit the tower. Totally freaked out my roommate and some friends who were over. As we watched the TV I saw the exact scene in the hospital that I had just dreamed and said "Not many people will survive this." The rest is sad history. Too bad I didn't dream it earlier, but then who would have listened?

True i had my dream about 9/11 and end of the world 4months prior to 9/11, my dream is explained in the world war 3 post, at that time i was young told my parents, and typical human ignorance they said that i watched too many movies, and it was nightmare and that i should come to reality and stuff. well guess what on that day 9/11 when it was all over the news i mean everywhere, i was stationed in the middle east with my father at the time, people were speechless, and i though OMG the end is here. so i know how you feel.

Yes, Salman, I read your dream on the other thread and decided to ask how many others had dreamed about it. Yours was pretty freaky. I only saw in the hospital and knew that it was in New York. Too bad no one listened to you. But I am not suprised. I have a girlfriend who dreamed Dale Earnhardt's crash and death 2 days before it happened. She is a big race fan and was frantic, calling the speedway and trying to get someone to listen to her. Needless to say, they told her she was a nut case. I do hope 9/11 is the only part of your dream that comes true. Yikes. ~ Golanv

hi Golanv
yes, me too, when i woke up, from the 9/11 and end of world dream, i was sweating, felt like my nerves were "light" and hungry like there was no tomorrow, and after 9/11 i wished that my second half of the dream dosen't come true, i remeber, im a big fan of automotive sports, not so much nascar, but im still a car nut, been to a few nascar races at the california speedway, and yes, when i herd about Dale, i was like what the, because i was aware of the advance tech and cage chamber systems they have to protect racers, so i was angry when the accident happened. But i realise that your girlfriend had a premonition, and it came true that not even billions of dollars worth of safety cage systems could save a racer instead it killed him engulfed in fire, so that got me to think we should really fear God,but have you noticed one thing that God always shows us his power and gives us choice to SAVE or DESTROY, and both is for us and only us, hense free will, like God created the time and place for the racers death, but yet at the same time he gave a premonition to yourgirlfriend to do something about it, and she did, but the one's in POWER did nothing, and the end result was ultimately death. And then those people probably felt guilty and realised your girlfriend was telling the truth, similarly i think God will tell us on judgement day, i gave you many chances you did not belive, and like in this case they will belive when its too late.thats a huge message to us, it makes sense no one can bring Dale back, its to late to realise that someone was telling the truth, But if God was shooting two apples with one arrow, your girlfriend did what was right and the people who ignored her did themselves wrong.

anyways take care.

you know, I had a lot of strange experiences that day (I was living in Boston at the time and the entire city was evacuated, on the way home the driver of the T (subway) I was on was stabbed and we were stuck in the tunnel for almost a half an hour with the lights out) but I didn't dream it, Such a sugnificant event I would think I would have dreamed it, but no. (that I can remember) but I also didn't know anyone who was directly effected by it and my pre-cogs always relate to people I know.

It would be interesting to see how many people over the country dreamed about it though.

you know what we need to do is act when more than one person gets a certain dream, just yesterday i was telling my mother how im learning a bit about what my dreams mean, she asked me a favour, i said sure, she said can you find out the meaning of a dream related to war, i asked can you be more specific, she said all countries fighting agains each other.... i had this type of dream before 9/11, and now my mothers having them often, and another friend of mine is doing so to, i think if we don't act now it will really happen, you know why because just like 9/11 there were people who had dreams to do with it, and than but no one belived them, and than 9/11 happened, similarly, there just to many people starting to have dreams about a war where couries are fighting which could be called i.e ww3.

any thoughts.

I have a lot of thoughts on this and think we have to hold our representatives accountable for what they do in our name. I try to pay attention to what is happening, write Senators, sign petitions, etc. I also donate to orgs like the Department of Peace. But doing something together is a great idea. Especially if more people come onto this site with their dreams. Peace All Ways ~ Golanv

I too picked up the 9/11 disaster although I reside 3000 miles away over the 'pond'. I did not dream of it. My life is peppered by precognition but on the feeling level which covers even the minutest of events. For example, I developed the feeling that while my wife was driving our car she would have a breakdown due to a deflated tyre. There was no cause to feel this way. I knew the incident would be more frustrating than serious. Within a few days it happened; the tyre did deflate yet it was not due to a puncture. We still do not know why it deflated. Another example (of recent origin) I gained the feeling that our dishwasher was about to breakdown and the fault would be with one of its swtiches. Today, we are waiting to have it fixed as it brokedown as predicted but there was no previous mechanical sign that this was likely.

When it was announced that Bush had become President I was immediately struck by this strong sensation that he was going to take us to war so there was an apprehension about it but I knew nothing more. Of course, Blair the PM here accretes around him and between them they have taken the world close to the brink which is where we stand today. With 9/11 it was much the same. On a number of occasions whenever I saw pictures of the twin towers I got the distinct impression of pending disaster and of the collaspe of the towers but I put it down to some inner irrational fear and would dismiss the thought (which seemed so improbable) but it would not stay away.

I seem to be in-tune with something that conveys those messages to me. I do not ignore the messages. I know that they will come to pass and that there is nothing that I can or could do to prevent them so I see myself as one of life's observers. It should probably be added that I am an agnostic. On the maternal side to my family there are many psychics, a trait which I too have. I am uncertain whether my appitudes today, which have been with me throughout my life, arise from nature or nurture but they sure do hold my interest. The subjective evidence indicates that it is an inherited trait so the weighting would be on nature which raises the next question; why?

I have often asked myself that same question. Why? I am also on the psychic side. A closet clairvoyant. Being "in tune" is a good way to put it. I too felt that Bush would take us to war and I campaigned like crazy for Kerry & Edwards. I played my guitar and sang on the sidewalk for 11 hours on election day. Many people went to bed that night thinking they had won, but I didn't trust it so I stayed up until it was called for Bush at 3:00 am. I have had another dream, full color that I haven't seen yet. Perhaps you can give me your thoughts here.

In my dream I am looking at George Bush sitting in a wine colored velvet dinner chair that looks somewhat like a throne. He is wearing a black suit with white shirt and tie, but in total color and looking to his left, freaked out. In his right hand is the hilt of a golden, ornate sword but the blade is missing. He drops it to the floor from his hand, turns to look back to his left again and there is the skull of Geronimo sitting on the floor looking back at him.

I went to my political group and asked about the skull of Geronimo. Check out this story. http://www.post-gazette.com/columnis...00923roddy.asp

Oh. And I was an atheist for several years, then an agnostic until a near death experience where I was in my Light body. I like the Native American path of Spirituality. My ancestry is Scots/Irish, English and Native American. Mitakuye Oyasin. Peace of the kind that demands to be shared. All Ways. ~ Golanv (Raven)

well, I don't claim to be anything but lucky with the things I dream and feel, most of them are just feelings. But lately, for about the past two months or so I haven't been able to sleep much. Wakeing up in the night with this feeling of dread with no explanation why. Usually I can track those feelings back to some stress in my wakeing life, work, deadlines etc. But not with this. There is nothing which would normally trigger this responce in me taking place in my personal life or the life of a loved one (that I am aware of) yet I still keep having this feeling of dread every night. I wish I could have some sort of dream related to it, then at least there would be some direction for it.

Do any of you have any method of bringing these dreams out? Any form of medetation before bed or anything like that?
I have had several night mares the past couple nights but they have all been normal and not seem to be related to the feeling of dread.

one more recent had someone famous (no one in government) that I have known off and on for years who in my dream I saw somewhere, it almost looked like he was standing on the bottom of the roots of a tree, but it was also a bit of tunnel vision so I can't be sure, and he looked at me and smiled but then when I tried to talk to him his face changed to a grimmace and he pretended like he didn't know me. I said "don't you remember me" and he acted like I was crazy. so I jumped from the tree root I was on to another and left him alone, then I woke up. The other strange thing is that that particular person looked a lot younger in my dream then I know him to be. I have no idea what that could mean, if it means anything at all.

hmm

as far as telling someone and preventing anything, unfortunatly not many people believe anyone who says they dreamed something, maybe if someone collected the descriptions of dreams of thousands of people around the world it could be submitted as a study but as a rule they don't tend to believe anyone until after the event has happened and we are left feeling frustrated because we knew all allong.

I have had a lot of pre-cogs coming true lately though, more then usual. Its all the little stuff, moments in time. Usually I only have about one per week come true, but lately I've had one per day.
