I was sound to sleep one night when I heard my husband shout in a loud whisper, "HON!"
I woke up, thinking something was wrong, only to find my husband sound to sleep. As I was falling back to sleep, I saw a vision of my infant daughter with her receiving blanket over her head and face, and she was thrashing about, trying to breathe. I laid there thinking, "I'm just dreaming!" But it bugged me so much, that I went into the next room to check on her. Sure enough, the balnket was over her face. She was just beginning to stir, the thrashing hadn't started. That scared the begeebies out of me! Bright Dreamer |

I had began having precognitive dreams when I was 11. I have had a lot of them following my first at age 11.

All I remember is that I was somewhere around age 10. I cannot control whether I have a precognitive dream or not and all the dreams I have had appear to be about short periods of time and are useless. For example, one time I dreamt of steadily passing a small bungalow in a field next to a crooked tree and a bunch of caravans and a week or so later I did pass the exact same scene when I was on a coach going on a school trip.
The weirdest one I had was when I was very young. I dreamt of an overweight black woman with glasses, her hair in dreadlocks and half of it tied back. She was wearing a beige top and was stood in front of a whiteboard with a piece of paper in her hand, holding it up to the side. Several years later (maybe even a decade later) I saw that exact same scene in university. Pity my dream didn't tell me which university it was and that I would hate it. Then maybe it would have been useful. ![]() |

the first I can remember vividly I was 12, but there may have been more previous to that. It was before my father's death which was very sudden and unexspected. I dreamed the house was flooded in diferent ways for two or three months almost every night before his death. In the dream it was flooded by water, hail, snow etc and in each one he died but it was never clear if it was related to the flooding. The day he died it raines, hailed and snowed all at once and out house on the top of a hill (there flooding never happened) flooded several inches because of the build up from the snow and hail. My mother and I spent the morning trying to get the water out of the house and when my mother went to kiss him wile she thought he was watching TV in bed she found he was dead. She did all the usual CPR and I called 911, the ambulance came and everything but he was already gone at home. The next day I awoke to the sound of him calling my mothers name and the front door (which had been deadbolted) flew open with no one to have done it. A very memorable experience which started a pretty steady streem of pre-cog dreams, everything from getting new jobs to meeting new people to large events in the lives of people I know and myself. I never seem to know it is a pre-cog until it happens though. I have such interesting regular dreams that its almost impossible to tell.

QUOTE] Mine are exactly the same, about 6 months ago I dreamt I was standing at a computer showing a woman a website and talking about something very spacific but I did not know the place or the person. Two days ago it happened. I started a new job two months ago and two days ago I found myself standing at my co-workers computer showing her the exact website I drempt about and talking about the same subject with her, the realisation came in a flash and then the moment was over. That happens to me all the time, it must be somewhat normal then. Its a shame though because it makes it hard to tell the diference between the ones that mean nothing and the ones that are important. |

Precognition is a trait more likely inherited than caused by any physical truama owing to head injury. Trying to recall the first occasion is difficult but the event that made me conscious of this feature was the Lynmouth disaster in Devon, England, of 1952 when the nearby swollen river burst its banks and washed through the village causing catastrophe. I dreamt of it in monocolour two nights previously when I experienced apprehension. I was 21 at the time. Later I read the book by (I think it was) J W Dunne entitled, 'An Experiment With Time' where the author discusses some of his own experiences and experiments. The book helped me to understand the phenomenon.

I must have been in 6th grade when I had the first dream I told anyone about that happened afterwards. I dreamed that a new girl named Joanna moved to our school, was very popular and everyone liked her. My friend Pam & I decided to give her a suprise birthday party and invited tons of people. I was in the school lunch line getting milk when Pam came running up saying "Everybody is coming!" and leaping up and down. I told Pam about the dream and we both forgot about it until over a year later when she came running up to me in the lunch line. She stopped in mid leap after she said "Everybody is coming!" and said "Oh, my God. This is your dream!"

Hi,
I think I must have been 11 or so. It was a dream that our beach house would be under water from the rising ocean. It was a recurring dream for a long long time. I asked my dad if the ocean could ever rise that high but he said that's impossible. This was about 30 years ago long before global warning was ever mentioned in the news. Sadly, I still think this is about to happen... Tomas |
