Good question...
There is pre-destiny...from the begining, before there were stars, GOD loved us. Some are destined to destruction, others for enternal life. Yet we have the free-will to accept or reject, to sin or to do good only...but if GOD does not prepare our hearts and our lives and does not call us...then we are destined for destruction, if He calls us and our hearts are hard againist Him we will burn in Hell...Jesus says many are called, few are chosen. This again implies destiny.GOD knew who would reject the His call and who would embrace it before the begining...in Revelation, the Bible speaks of the martyers, and that there is set number, a specific number of them that must be reached, before Jesus comes back to earth as the avenger of their blood and kinsmen redeemer. This would again imply pre-destiny...that there are a certain number Christians pre-destined to suffer and die. All through the BIBLE, GOD keeps referring to only a choosen few saved from destruction (thus they are more precious because they are rare, like diamonds) and that would again imply that only a certain number of people were destined to be saved. From all of this I conclude that each of us are pre-destined to be born, to suffer, and die....that the only free will involved is making small decisions...and going to Heaven or Hell is pre-destined, for in Revelation it says those who were reserved for being in Heaven after death were written into the Book of Life before the begining of the world.

i agree with you totally, everything must be pre-destined already.
I''m in Krishna consiousness now since 5 months and learned from the Bhagavad Gita (spoken 5.000 years ago by Krishna to Arjuna, a warrior, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, where many millions died).
Anyway, in this holy book he also states, that he knows the past, present and future of EVERYBODY, so every being.

Now, this is a simular to what you say, also what is mentioned in the Bible offcourse, and very interesting, we also have discussions about destiny and free will here, i forgot what was mentioned, but this is discussed.

You know, i believe in reincarnation, not in an eternal heaven or eternal hell, God loves his children, therefore he cannot sent souls who made mistakes to eternal hell, ETERNAL means to NEVER come back, to never get a second change again, always suffering, endless.
God cannot be that sadistic and cruel, in my point of view and also from our books point of view.
But these terrorists, they will go to hell and for a very long time, (thinking that by blowing up people will give them a ticket to heaven and their victims going to hell instead) but they will come back, some stay demon, some change into angels after this suffering in hell, which is also a purification process.

This was also karma from that life coming to haunt me in this. It helped me to understand a lot of things, especially this subject of predestination.
