Default Dream comes true, just as I journalized that it would...

I had a dream on Oct 1st that someone I work with left their cell phone in my office. The cell phone was the same model as my (I guess 'former' now) best friend. The fellow eployee left and I could not get a hold of her. I tried and tried to look in the contacts list for her home number to call her but couldnt find her number.

She made no agressive move to come back to get the phone, but in the dream, it was the day before a long break from work (3 days plus a weekend... total of 5 days).

I figured "Well, she can get her pphone when she comes back to work in 5 days."

In my journal, I interpreted the dream this way:
Since the phone was that of my friends, and she has been making herself distant from more day by day, I figured that she would not contact me (Since in the dream, the communication tool/phone was not in her possesion.) I determined from the dream that since I had the dream on Oct 1st, and in the dream the phone would be returned in 5 days, that I MIGHT hear from her on Oct 6th.

As I was driving down the road yesterday (Oct 6th) she sends me a text message.

I was overcome with tears. Not really of joy because I know she would have nothing nice or good to say, but tears in knowing that my dream was interpreted properly! Before reponding to her, I even pulled my journal out as I was driving and read my prediction to make sure I wasnt losing my mind...

On a side note, her texts to me were basically telling me she needed more space and I need to understand that and I was not not send her things anymore (We used to mail one another silly, funny things alot)...

sad news, but cool that the dream came true eh?

I've many similar experiences. I was able to antcipate where I would work and when I would be hired and the exact circumstances it was under because several dreams indicated it to me...the interepretions of my dreams came true....I could give lots of examples. Sometimes they come true with slight variations. I think dreams are gate ways to a better awareness. Don't you feel that your mind and your life experience has been enriched? I feel that way

Hi 147

well this tehn is perhaps a premonition. I would maybe beg to differ. But the precise nature of the dream is irrelevant. I would tend to think the dream was more telepathy than anything else.

-----------------------------
Take two example incidents. One dreamer saw his brother and half sister kissing in an intimate way when he was twelve years old. The same dreamer got annoyed with a man who was causing trouble on the train the previous day. Which issue would you think is presently most likely to cause a dream? Well of course its the incident the previous day. We constantly react to little incidents and changing situations. Many decisions that we have to make are based on inadequate information. We try to read the feelings of others and assessing what their real motives are. We try assess the potential for danger. We finally monitor our own performance and see ways in which we should alter our behavior. Our brains do not spend time on things long forgotten. Most dreams then are very much in the present and symbolise our actual thoughts on real issues. Try the following web pages as they help you understand the meaning of dreams and dream symbols.
