Hi flyingsquirrel!
If this were my dream I would interpret it rather differently than what's so far been offered, so I thought I'd share what comes to me about it. Take what works, toss the rest, of course. Rather than prophetic, this dream seems to be revealing something that you aren't quite consciously aware of, about your own beliefs and expectations, which may have shifted a bit lately. The rabbit is key in the dream, imo, and points to a personal fear that you thought was dead. Even you, in the dream, realize it's potential importance to what's going on in the dream, and your response is to try to "bottle it up" but keep it with you, perhaps to examine at a later point. What that rabbit turns into once it comes back alive, points directly to this fear of yours that you thought was dead and gone. And your reaction is that it's not something you want... this tells another important detail, actually. When we carry a fear of something that we either intellectually "know better" than to fear, or have learned isn't healthy to fear, or even discovered in our explorations of life that we "choose not to believe or fear"... we tend not to address the fear appropriately. It's as though we get half way through clearing and think we're done. But by not completing the releasing of a fear, we instead relegate it to the subcorridors of our awareness and deny that it's ours. This doesn't erase it from our energies (emotions and beliefs), nor does it eliminate its influence on us. It leaves this fear in a blind spot in our consciousness, making it available to prey upon us in our less confident moments, or even to grow with just a little "watering" from circumstances and events that trigger it's "like energy" in us. We also can't fight our fear. This will also make it grow. Denying it, fighting it, despising it, rejecting it, projecting it... all of these actions make fear grow, not lessen or leave us. What's required is to get quiet and let the fear speak honestly and without censor in our inner sanctum. Let it tell us where it truly stems from. When we allow it to have honest play in our awareness, we gain understanding. From that comes compassion for ourselves, a form of love, and this is what releases that fear from our energy. To your dream: there seems to be some "wonderful, nurturing and attentive" new thing in your life (could be a new person or a new teaching or new awareness borne of your own growth) that is triggering this old, hidden fear represented by the rabbit. This new thing in your life is represented by the wonderful man. This new thing is literally taking you for a ride. Despite what you're encountering on this ride of your life in the Garden of God (sounds like new spiritual teachings or something, or perhaps even the idea of prophecy, frankly), you still think the new thing is wonderful, and it's everything else that's gone awry. In other words... you're believing something that makes the future bleak, takes a great deal from you, and doesn't actually fit what you truly want in your heart of hearts. Yet... you fall into it against your better judgment, we'll say. And the reason for that seems to be this bottled up, seemingly dead rabbit - fear - that never fully left your energy field. So clear up the fear in a true way, and then determine the merit of this new thing in your life. Everything we encounter in our life is filtered through our fears when we have them. Nothing can be seen clearly until we release the fear truly, which comes from loving the self we are who fears, now or in the past, and understanding the origins of those fears with compassion for self. Horseless carriage indicates something that seems to move you, but actually has no real power. The scenery, though supposedly Chicago, looked more like New York, indicating again that things are not what they seem. Cities in dreams often indicate "the inner center hub for all parts of self", the place where inner connecting and communicating goes on. Lots of activity (thought, feeling, inspiration from spirit, attitudes, desires, etc.) and the need for wholeness-intended cooperation among all one's aspects of Self makes our inner city shine. Yours in this dream is desolate and you notice it's not how it should be - again an indication that this is not what it seems. However the message seems to be that if you choose to believe whatever this new thing is... than this is what you can expect of your inner hub of life... to be desolate. And you... isolated and frightened. (This is typical of fears influence on any one of us) This new thing is revealed to be "foreign" yet related, indicated by Puerto Rico. In separation... yet part of. Again, these are symbolic ways of describing fear or fear-based ideas. They stem from a sense of separation, not from a sense of wholeness and unity. They come from far off and through seeming herculine effort "take over" so much and champion themselves as so hard working, earnest, strong and worthy of our energy investment. Yet they aren't real, in truth. They are distorted offshoots of what is real, created through misperception often innocent, initially. The misperception is usually based on the idea of separation... something that is not inherently part of The One Being, that is all. And if you apply your heart to this idea, you can feel it is illusion. Nothing... absolutely nothing is actually separate from The One. Can't possibly be. So when we perceive something as separate... we have left the realm of love and truth, and chosen to fear. So this fear-based new something is taking you on the ride of your life, so to say, and pumping you full of lovely, yet empty, compliments... while everything around you is doing it's darnedest to reveal to you a truth: You've been lied to or bought into a lie, and it's taking away all that you love and desire, including your future. I hope you find this helpful! And again, take what works for you and toss the rest. With love and blessings, Sowelu

I appreciate your analysis very much! That interpretation ties in well with dreams I had shortly after this one. I did have an epiphany, an enlightenment, not terribly long after this dream, realizing that the physical world is merely an illusion of sorts and finite, and it is the world of spirit that is in control. I learned to recongnize which influences in my life were actually from the spirit world - and which was merely mortal. Thus, I learned to nuetralize negative spiritual forces in my life and invite the positive spiritual forces in my life with greater power. Perhaps the rabbit represented to me the fear of the unknown in the spirit world.

Hi all, i would like someone with experience to help me, i kind of found this site by searching on yahoo. I am 21 and had done bad things in the past, but am turning my life around after spending a short amount of time in jail. A big problem in my life, was i dont have a girlfriend, but am not a virgin, even far from that...
Here is my dream. I was in a familiar mall, with this girl i use to love when i was 17, it seem like i finish school and wanted to meet her, it seem i was trying to be nice and all, and then i invited her to the parc (where is the big wheel and all types of rides and all and its really fun and all sorry my english isnt perfect!). I was at my primary school in a school bus, then when we got there there was a big waterfall in the back of her. I dont remember the rest of that part. [I actually had a activity in primary school when we went to that parc. I always though that was the coolest activity a school can do] Then somehow she got a call and we end up at this other girl house that i loved when i was 19 her and her boyfriend [she actually let me go because of that guy]. [I never went out with any of them but loved them both] Anyway feels like i was talking to them about a danger. Then i dont remember some parts but it was the end of the world, we and a group of people were escaping bad guys on a flying pirate ship. They were mean. In like a industrial building, i remember running away in a hall with another dude [it felt like it was a good friend i was confortable with], there was a hole in this hall and as we escape, we take a turn and climb a rope to our flying pirate ship, and were hiding the pirate ship from the bad guys. I think that girl that i love when i was 17 was there, and i help her escape with me, like i took care of her. Then to finish the bad floating pirate ship didnt find us. The captain of the ship was sayin "Where do we go?" and i said "Japan, we will see if there is any survivor" and thats, where we were headed. THe thing is i am japanese but born in canada, i never went there. But i reallly wanted to go. I am scared though i cant really communicate with them. I feel though that Japanesse people are my own people... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE SENCE OUT OF ALL THIS? PLEASE? I AM SOME YOUNG DUDE TRYING TO TURN HIS LIFE AROUND. AND AM FREAK OUT. TO MAKE YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND MORE, I KIND OF DONT TALK TO MUCH PEOPLE ANYMORE, JUST LIKE 2 FRIEND. I USE TO HAVE LIKE 1000 OF FRIENDS. I USE TO DO DRUGS. AFTER GOING TO JAIL, I LEARNED MY LESSON AND WANT TO TURN MY LIFE AROUND, AND WANT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL, AND STOP DOING ALL DRUGS AND ALCHOHOL. ALL I DO NOW IS SMOKE CIGARETTES. AND I LOVE SPORTS ESPECIALLY FOOTBALL THEN THEN SECOND IS HOCKEY. I KEEP MYSELF BUSY WATCHING THOSE SPORTS BECAUSE I NOW STAY HOME AT ALL TIME. BECAUSE I AM ON HOUSE ARREST. SO THAT IS MY STORY CAN SOMEONE MAKE SENCE OF ALL THIS PLEASE |

I am not sure exactly what the dream is saying but there is a pattern of images from your youth. People that you loved in the past that you are dreaming of now may well represent trying to get back to life the way you knew it before you got into trouble. An alternative explanation may well be that the woman you were with may represent all that is good in you, that you have gotten in touch with the positive qualities you have. Pirates are thieves...perhaps they represent the trouble from your past that you may be hiding from, since you are hiding from the pirates. Longing to go to Japan represents a longing for you to get back to the roots of your Japanese culture. Regardless of a person ethnicity or heritiage, it is benefical to explore our ancesteral roots because the wisdom past down to us helps with the present, and gives us a sense of self-worth. Congratulations on turning your life around, God bless you.
