God's Plan

Just under two years ago, I had a dream in which I was on my lunch break at work. I was sitting outside in my truck & closed my eyes for a few minutes. When I awoke, I was on top of a mountain at the top of a waterfall, surrounded by a lot of trees and shrubs.

I started looking around and as I looked around a large tree, I saw a man with his back turned toward me. He was wearing a long white road with a dark red trim around the bottom and at the bottom of the sleeves. He turned around and faced me. I had never seen this man before, but I instantly knew who it was. It was Jesus. He was completely unlike any depiction I've ever seen. I was frozen stiff and began to tremble a little. Then he asked me to come and sit with him.

I walked down to where is was and sat down beside him. He turned his head toward me and said "you are destined to do great things, but first you must endure." For an instant follow his words, I experienced perfect peace and clarity, everything and I mean everything (past, present, and future) made perfect sense to me. I woke up immediately following that.

Sense this dream, I have experienced, by far, the most difficult times of my life. However, at the same time I've begun to see the world differently than before.

Can anyone help me makes sense of all of this?

I think that was extra comfort to you from the Lord to help you get through the tough times and so that you can remember that expereice and hold on to the HOPE that great things are destined for you. When we go through so much He is perfecting us in so many ways and experiences. Its the process of being made. People want great ministires and to do great things but dont want to go through the process. There is a price to this. Pass every test. He know us best and if you had not had that expereince you would not be as strong as you are and have been going through the tought times. He knows what we need. Keep on living for the Lord.
