Scientific explanation?

I have had a couple of prophetic dreams, and everywhere I read up on them, it says that perhaps your subconscious is aware of something your conscious isn't aware of, like it has pieced together a puzzle from information you don't know you have. In my own instance I feel this is baloney.

Until recently I worked at a wildlife sanctuary. Last year, I had a dream that I found one of our resident blue jays dead. I told my boyfriend about it, and either that day or the next, we were driving near his house and found a dead blue jay in the middle of the road - a blue jay that had come from our sanctuary.

Later last year, I awoke from a dream in which I was trying to pull a drowning rabbit out of a canal with a net. I woke up to find a new text message from my boyfriend, telling me that his pet rabbit had died. I called him to find out what had happened, and the rabbit, who freely ran around the lanai, fell into the pool and drowned, and my boyfriend had to pull it out with a net.

Earlier this year, my boyfriend passed away. I didn't have any dreams about it, or maybe I would have been able to do something. But I almost wonder if the dreams in which the animals died - animals connected to him, all centered around his house - were my intuition's way of telling me I was going to lose him?

It is a possibility that your dream was a warning. I feel that it was. Dreams can be hard to decipher, if you have any more dream that seem to be telling the future try to figure them out. You may be able to help people.

My thoughts are that you are not responsible for his death and you should not go looking for out-of-the-way reasons to find yourself responsible either.

Just let it go. The past is done and most painful parts are usually beyond our personal control to prevent or fix.

Life is like that sometimes ;-)

I understand the feeling. It is frustrating isn't it? I had similar experience, but now I am a bit too sensitive about all the symbols/information in my dream and it drives me crazy. I am a sensitive person and I can receive so much information in my dream, however, the difficulty is to accept it as it is because what if it still will happen no matter what we do? We see the future but the future is not going to be changed? And do we really want to know or not? Even the dream is trying to tell you the truth, it also hides from you because it is your dream. You won't allow yourself to reveal something so clear to yourself...However, if so, isn't it too cruel? Do you really wanna know?

Sometimes dream uses animal to depict a person in our lives. This is something which is unknown to us unless someone reveals it through interpretation. God gave us message in our dream and it is symbolic and you will only know these once it comes to pass so you know that there is God.

I will give you an example and that example is about Jesus who is about to be crucified on the cross but before He does He told His servant that He will be handed over to the leaders of this world and be killed. He said these just to let them know that He is the true God. What is not known will be known to them. This is all about the fulfillment of the scriptures. This is about fallowing the will of the Father. (Read Matthew 16:21-28)

From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. So, If people indeed know the future and know their dreams do you think they will be able to face it or run away from their fate?
Will he/she forfeit his fate?
How can we be spiritual if we cannot face our fate?
Jesus said take up your cross because he overcomes the world so you too will overcome it.
Jesus is an example for all of us and an image to all of us.
He is the king who never backs down on His promise.
He is the fulfillment of the word's of God.
No one take His life but Him.
He is not a coward like Satan who gains the whole world and forfeits his soul.

Jesus said… ‘I am the way the truth and the life no one goes to the Father but through me.”
