Church Pastor Craziness

I was sitting in the congregation. The Pastor was singing. He could not sing well but people were into it. He had people up front rocking to the beat. He tried to get me to get into it as well and wanted me to grab the person behind me and go up front and join the others rocking to him singing. It did not work. I did not feel like it was moving. It felt fake and empty.

The scence changed. I was at the top of these stairs in this house. There were several babies. I had to stand at the top to make sure that the babies would not fall down the stairs.

The scene changed and Me and My wife were at the Grocery store buying cearal. I was eating it.

Does it reflect a similar situation in your life? Do you attend services where the Pastor is "trying" but unable to really move and inspire people? Does he look to you to assist him w/ the congregation?

Or perhaps you're feeling on most organized religion is that it lacks genuine spiritual fervor...It's hard to say without knowing the details in your life right now...
But if it were my dream, I would interpret it as my lack of faith in spiritual leadership...Perhaps the babies symbolize innocence or the youngest generation and you fear them being led astray.

These are just the best guesses I can present with what information I have...But YOU can answer your own question....

Ask yourself, How did the dream make you FEEL? And go from there...

You are right good sir. I do have reservations about the place I am a part of. I've been there for a while. I know Go told me to stay there. I stay until He tell me to go elsewhere. Its not about me. I try not to have an opinion as I know we all are learning and need to press forward and help one another out as there are new members and those not as strong in the body. I really make it a deal to not have an opinion about it and look at it as, This is a place that God has established and the Church needs help, we all learning. No room for judging, I do my part in praying for the leadership. I want the power of God to move like never before in the services. Ive been to some services where the power is so great and then reurn to my hombase and its like blah. I know that some people carry stronger annointings than others, we're not better but all things are given in a measure to us by Gods grace. I would like to inspire more of the members with the ministry that God has given me but I am not the one in authority there. I cant ursurp his authority. I have to stay in my lane unitl God makes way and the Pastor allows me to flow and bless the people. I guess I feel like that the members will fall as there is service there but no "real" movement. I'll pray on this more about my role in this. One can talk all day but if there is no real annointing its just kinda dead and non moving.

Sometimes a service will not move just with music or good preaching. Sometimes you just have to worship the Lord and you can effect the people around you and the service will start to move.

Good point, Sable...Sometimes you have to take it upon yourself to get people excited about worship and fellowship.
