Dream about ex s.o.

I had a crazy dream last night that my ex who I care for deeply still and I were on good terms. It's about the 3rd or so dream of this nature but this dream was so real that when I woke up I couldn't tell if he was really there or not. In real life we are not on good terms because he swears he hates me... thats a whole long story of its own... but THEN today after I get to work I see him on TV doing a ceremony which is part of his job. It's so weird because I haven't talked to him in about a month but the fact that I had a dream about him and then saw him on TV somewhat weirds me out... I don't know whether I should contact him or not because honestly i think this may be a sign
