my family just doesn't want to hear anymore

so i need someone to talk to. I don't know if it is necessarily prophetic.

The most recent is a dream about a horrible flood in my hometown. Several people I knew were there and we barely escaped the flood. At the house we were at was o.k. but then we all had to seek higher ground.
The next day I told my husband and my parents about my dream because it had started raining pretty hard. My husband and my dad ignored me as always but my mother always listens just in case. By the time we left my parents house to head home I could barely see the road, a flash flood warning was issued that night and a state of emergency was issued for 17 counties in GA.

The one before was in a funeral home. I was looking around and saw an old friend from high school sitting in the back row of seats. She looked very sad.
The next day my mom told me that she saw an obituary in the paper and thought is was someone I might know. Unfortunately when I looked it was the same girl I had dreamt about.

Before that I dreamt about a basket of fruit in the front pew of my church. It tipped over out of nowhere but only a few people would clean any up. That Sunday a huge uproar happened in my church and only a few wanted to stop it where it started just like in my dream. The rest wanted to gripe and complain about the situation just like they did about the fruit.

These are only the most recent .There are several more. My husband has asked me to stop telling him about them because it makes him nervous and I just wanted to talk to someone that could relate.

Hi dreamitandseeit24,

There are many people here on this forum with dreams that tell about the future. I see that as a gift that some people have. I would keep a dream journal. Have you had these prophetic dreams for many years?

I can understand how people may think that seeing into the future is both weird and scary. When I was a kid I told my parents about my dreams but they didn't believe in me - so I just kept the dreams for myself for many many years until I met like-minded friends to share them with.

i used to just try and forget them but now that i am older i want to read a little more into it.
i can always tell when an old friend of mine is going to call because i dream about her 1-3 days before she does. i have never been afraid of things like this. there are other things similar to it that i am a little more weary of telling anyone about. my mom is the only other person who really gets that one around here because she experiences the same thing. my husband tries to shrug these things off or ignore them. he never wants me to mention them or go into deep detail after whatever it is has happened.

Don't pay attention to what friends and family say about your dreams. Some people are just blessed with prophetic dreams. I love this site because I know that I'm not alone when it comes to these dreams.

You need to focus all your energies on positive happenings. Imagine everything you ever dreamed of and focus on it hard, so much that your dreams are all positive and wonderful things start to play out. Then they will want to listen to you!

If ones dreams are prophetic, then one has no control over them. BLESSINGS TO YOU.
