I would love any help I can get.

I expect no conclusive answers from this but I feel it necessary to ask anyway.

Since I was young I've had the ability to see small pieces of time before they happen. I predicted three months in advance that my grandmothers home would burn down, which it did. I also said in december of last year that my father would die in 2009, and he did last month. This ability used to be a daily occurrence but it has slowed down to only a few times a month. I don't know if these are dreams or not because the events usually occur within days of having them. Most of the time they were irrelevant fragments of time, but they all occurred somewhere along the line.

I've grown to accept this ability but it is weighing heavy. 10 years ago I saw myself in a wheelchair by the age of at least 28 and I would be a teacher of college level art with dreadlocks. I knew instantly that it was myself, like having an out of body experience I suppose. I shrugged it off, saying it was a one time deal and went on with my life. But the dream came back as recent as two days ago (making this the third time) and the fact is, I'm that exact person I am today that I saw ten years ago.

I've had this theory about my visions that if I see it once it might happen, twice and its inevitable, three times and its soon. And judging by my record of predicted events, I just can not dismiss this as a "You need to get your wheels moving and stand up for yourself" kind of dream because now I'm a 21 year old college art student striving to become an art teacher, who has
dreadlocks and the same facial hair as that that guy in the wheel chair ten years ago.

I'm just sick of people telling me that this is deja vu, because its just to accurate to be a hunch. I don't know what else to say, but any help is awesome. Thank you very much for reading, I'm glad I found this site. I was going crazy.

I was sistting in my living room and I was awake I dont know quite what happened but I turned to my son who was 17 years old and I told him that he was going to be in a car accident but that I didnt know with who. I knew at that moment that I needed to go and pray for him and let me tell you I prayed and prayed. A few day later he called me and said mom I was in a car accident but im ok. the car he and his frinds were in lost control when they were tuning the cornner to the street we lived on. Thank god they were going slow. about two days later it happened again I told my son oh my gosh son there is going to be another car accident but this time I dont know who it is. so again I prayed and prayed. And a day or two later my nephew got in an accident on the freeway he was ok scared but ok. my point is this has happened many times and i always feel the need to pray pray pray I do believe that we are given warnings in our lives and im not saying that praying is going to make it all go away although it just might but I know in my heart that god wanted me to pray for safty and even though it happened it was too bad. I don’t think I’d want to know the future.

In some sense everything we experience in this world is an illusion as it gets filtered by our consciousness, past experiences and such.

Physics uncertainty principle indicates the act of observing is enough to influence what we see. To observe the future must then influence the future... and down the rabbit hole you go.

I’m a firm believer that we create what we fear and I guess create what we hope for. Though creating what we fear is easier.

Not much of a help perhaps , but I just wanted to say that you are perfectly normal.

Also, I have noticed that sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for to know. It can be just a simple wondering in the mind about something without really explicitly asking to know. And them the answer would come in a dream soon thereafter, even though you really didn't want to know.

hey I believe you and honeslty sometimes dreams are inevitable. I would be careful in a car (always seatbelts)ect. I dreamthings that come true as well. Just be careful

Yes...Yesss...finally someone who feels almost the same way as i do!!!!
About 4 years ago, my dreams kept coming true on a daily basis! however, as time passed by..i stopped having dreams at all..only like three a month (and only one comes true). Now i'm 17 and it is starting to get back...i have been having a lot of dreams lately..like 4 each night...and they all feel so reall!!
i used to control almost all of the the dreams that i had from 4 years until now! but now i cant.. i sit back and watch chaos and problems occuring infront of my eyes!!
i dreamt like three times in three different scenes that a close friend of mine was so mad at me and didnt want to talk to me anymore for some reason!! we're still friends now..and i don't want that day to come!

Here are some of my dreams that usually ocuur in real life after three weeks of being dreamt:
-I dreamt a boat up side down sinking in the sea...2 weeks later i saw on CNN that a ferry boat in the phillipines sunk just the way i saw it in my dream.
-I dreamt war in Lebanon...1 week later the war started!
-I dreamt my best friend being hit by a car...the next day i pulled him away a second before he got hit by one!
-I dreamt 2 consecutive explosions in a country...3 weeks later my sister tells me that two buses were bombed..(5 minutes between each explosion)
-I dreamt that i was talking to a girl whom i don't know in school...the next day..we turned out to be in the same exam room sitting next to each other..and yes we did talk!
Those are a part of what i can remember...but i know there are tons more!
I live in Lebanon so most of my dreams came true in lebanon!!

One last thing:
Like 2 weeks ago, i dreamt that the palestinians or hezbollah were doing something really horrible..like taking down buildings..invading properties..somthn like that..maybe a war..i don know..it was a vague dream!
5 days ago, there was an activity in the south of lebanon against israel..so i don know if somthn like that is gona lead up to my dream!!

Anyways, please comment on this post!!
