Why am I dreaming the future almost everyday now?

Since I was a kid I have always been able to dream for what seems like hours. I dream everyday. I can recall all my dreams. I know I'm dreaming when I'm dreaming and can manipulate my dreams into doing whatever I want most of the time.

Recently I've started dreaming the future almost on a daily basis. This didn't just poof happen. It was slow. I'm 31 turning 32 and maybe I used to have 1 per year, then two, then 3 and so on.

This week I have seen the future 4 nights almost in a row. I want to know why this is so strong and happening all of the sudden.

I can't do it during the day. Only when I sleep. They are small insignificant events sometimes. Sometimes scary warnings. I feel like I can't hide from the truth. People reveal themselves to me in dreams. I find out who is fake, who doesn't like me, who is a nasty person on the inside but is smiling on the outside. The feelings in these dreams are so intense & with the accuracy of the "event" predictions I just don't know how to feel.

I don't know who to talk to. I don't know what my next step is.

I'm just posting here wondering if anyone has lived through this and is experienced in what to do? What does this mean for me?

Hi, sometimes skills like foresight and being a seer are inherited gifts, my mother and my father both have similar traits, I know I struggle with gifts very similar to yours, I'm in my early twenties and my dreams have become much stronger since I was seventeen.

Perhaps the world has shifted and there is a lot more people like us then there used to be, we all hear about great soothsayers, seers, prophets and other psychic beings in history, but it's called a rare gift. Now I know a lot of people, my siblings and parents included, that have talents of foresight.

It is a gift, not a curse, and something hard to live with, but if you can use the good part of it to help people and yourself, I know you will be fine.

I do understand your concern.....As the previous reply indicated it is a blessing and a gift!! It can feel like a curse but it is not...It is there to reveal all truths to you but it is ultimately up to you to see the world as GOD sees the world....The negatives you see might just be your fears manifested into certain traits in others...Don't always assume that what you see or feel is exactly what it is.....It can be if it is what you believe...You must always seek the good in others and trust that your gift is there as a guide but you cannot live and rely soley on the dreams.....

Well, the deepest part of you is taking care of you. It's good to know what people are really like. What actually do we get out of believing illusions. Nothing gets solved, no one gets loved, and you won't get to your real heartfelt goals.

Keep a journal. Every day that you dream. Include what you get in your dreams in your plans. If someone suggests you work together on such and such, and you know from your dreams, you probably have very good reason to distrust someone, make up an excuse and excuse yourself. There is no harm in holding back.

On the other hand, if you dream someone is "good" for you, wait, watch, give time for the truth to reveal itself.

You are made to think for yourself. It's hard to accept that. One of the hardest things in the world, until you have, and then it's second nature.
If you think about it, life isn't about trusting others; it's about trusting your own ability to tell who is worthy of your trust. It's you you have to trust.

It's not always easy knowing the truth but wouldn't you agree that knowing the truth is better than being decieved by a delusion ?

I am 24. throughout life I've gone through times where I am more inclined to have such dreams. My mother also had them. She for example met my father in a dream and recognized him when she first met him from a dream... odd. I also don't know much about it. I find it strange when it happens and unpredictable. Not all dreams are predicting the future, but the ones that have haunt me... I'd say know that the future is always changing and be wary that dreams may not always br right so don't, for example, play off friends based only on a dream.

I constantly dream about the end of the world in the near future... a huge war and other times a strong fast disease... big chaos everywhere, fear, panic...
No idea what these dream mean
