Screams?

Hi, I'm new here, but lately I've been having terrible nightmares.
Last night, I had one, but all I can remember is screaming. Lots of screaming, female screaming. But no one I recognized. When I woke up, I couldn't sleep, and I had to check on my mom. I was sure for some reason she was dead, or seriously hurt, and that there was an intruder in my house.
Today, I got a call-- my mom fell while she was out and was sent to the emergency room. She's not dead, but she is hurt.
I'm wondering, was my dream warning me of this? I've been making sure everything is locked and secure, because I think the feeling of intrusion was a warning.

yes this was a warning but because you couldnt figure out who was screaming you couldnt have prevented this from happening to your mom

i sometimes get those same dreams and i have to go around checking everything, its like a reassurance that you will be ok so you can go back to sleep.
