A two-night dream about a girl...

Okay, so I've had an interesting couple of nights, both in reality and while asleep... let me preface by saying pardon me for the length of this story, I just had to get it out in writing! I'd love to hear your thoughts though...

First, a bit of background (reality, not the dream). My best friend's sister had her graduation party this weekend. I'm a couple of years older and I always got the impression that she had an interest in me - even from a young age when I would come by the house to hang out with her bro. She was always the type who you knew would be gorgeous when she got older, and low and behold she is probably one of the most stunning girls I currently know.

Judging from my own experiences and her stories, it's easy to tell that this girl is mature way beyond her age... she's going pre-med at a major university, and probably has the most ambition and passion of any 19-yr old I've seen. Hell, she is more driven than almost all of my friends - male or female.

Anyway, the funny thing is that she has a b/f of like 4 1/2 years - to me it seems like more of a young love type deal that will be extremely hard to maintain while they are both away at college. I think this guy is a real nice dude, but he lacks the ambition and overall qualities that she is looking for now. I hear all the time from my buddy how they are fighting a lot more these days, so I'd personally be shocked if they stayed together much longer.

But back to the party - I was helping out at the bar and she really seemed to be flirting with me every time she would come by my table. The things she was saying, the way she said them, the way she managed to playfully touch me each time we were conversing. The weird thing was her b/f was there! Later in the night I hear that this guy actually hit her father's car while pulling into the party, so this started another rift between them.

The night was a very good time, and by the end most of the people were passed out somewhere but she came to hang out with myself and her brother. During this encounter, she managed to tell me that she loves being naked and sleeping in the nude! lol. Joking aside, this has been the norm when she has talked to me - over the years, I've never once initiated a conversation like this but she has on multiple occasions.

So the night comes to an end, I make it home and then I had my dream, Part 1. From what I remember, I was actually in a tense situation with another girl and we had a fight (I don't have a g/f and don't think this was someone I knew - kinda random), so I ended up going to the boardwalk with a friend. I remember seeing something going on underneath the boardwalk, and lifeguards were almost acting as bouncers to let people go there. I saw her being taken advantage of by one of these guys, so I raced over but as I got there a huge tidal wave or something knocked everyone over on the boardwalk and as it hit me I woke up.

I woke up wondering what the hell that was about.

Then last night, I had a much more realistic dream - for some reason everyone was at my house for a party, including this girl and her b/f. The entire night she was getting in little fights with this guy, and every now and then bringing me into the middle of it by comparing myself and him. I was feeling uneasy because my name was being mentioned during this rifts, but I didn't think anything of it. Eventually she told him to leave. She then snuck into my bed to cuddle, lol.

Later, I went outside to check on someone and he was waiting there, very pissed at me and in a belligerent mood. He was talking ****, but then his parents, who were conveniently hanging outside as well, basically talked sense into him and convinced him he was being insecure, immature and downright crazy. I woke up shortly thereafter.

Honestly, I rarely remember my dreams let alone having such vivid dreams on back-to-back nights. I've also wondered if a dream like this could be foreshadowing in one way or another.

What makes this more intriguing is that I actually believe my friend would have no qualms with me getting with his sister. I know he doesn't like her current b/f much, and he knows the type of guy I am. The family also knows me well, and I really think of his mom like a second mother to me.

I've seen this girl grow up before my eyes, and I'd kill to have a chance at her. I'm just having a hard time reading her moves because while she seems very interested at times, 1) she's still taken and 2) she does have a playful personality.

Ahhhh, it feels good to get that out! LOL... On a serious not though, I'm just curious as to what you people think/if you've had a foreshadowing dream that actually came to fruition. Thanks for hearing me out!

Although I would say that no, this is not a prophetic dream, I would say it could happen. A lot of times we dream about what we wish or want to happen, sometimes they do happen, altered or the same. At the same time as I would not be surprised if this happens, I know it might not. With your interest with her I don't doubt it could also be wishful thinking.
Aside from the dream I would say I wouldn't mess around with a girl who had a boyfriend, especially of that long, it could screw over your chances. My advice is get to be her good friend, be around her and be there for her. But do not jump at her until the time is right. Wait for her and I'm sure the boyfriend situation will clear up, especially if she likes you. And also, be honest with your friend, if he figures it out, or even if you tell him before, just don't lie to him.
