2 foot Tsunami? Metephor for Swine Flu?

I've always had dreams about Tsunamis since I was a kid. Lately I've had more dreams about seeing a Tsunami coming or someone telling me that one is coming. The last one that I had was kind of odd.

In my dream, I was standing on a large map of the world and my feet were on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I was facing north west and heard a woman's voice on my left. She sounded like a newscaster or announcer on the T.V. or radio. I heard her say "the waves are 2 feet". I wasn't paying attention to her because 2 feet waves seem harmless. Then suddenly, a stern male voice from my right side said "the waves are already coming". It felt like the stern voice was telling me to pay attention to the the woman's voice. As I listened she continued to say 2 feet then said 2 point something, but I couldn't remember. The feeling I got was that even though it seemed small and unimportant, I needed to pay attention because it was a very serious and iminent danger was on its way and could not be stopped.

After I woke up, I thought about it for awhile. Did it really refer to a Tsunami or is it an event that could resemble a small Tsunami? If a 2 foot Tsunami hit a low lying area that does not usually get waves, it could be severe and cause damage. However, in its initial stages, people would not be alarmed by or pay attention to it because of its initial size. I don't know if it actually refers to a Tsunami, but today I was looking up the updates on the Swine flu because I haven't heard much about it in the news and saw that the number of cases has jumped. After having the "outbreak" dream, I am wondering if this tsunami dream could actually be refering to the swine flu. People are not taking it seriously or paying attention to the warnings because it is still in its beginning stages.

Any thoughts on what this dream meant or if it is a description of what's going on with the swine flu?

The main message I got was to not take things lightly and pay attention.

I used to live on Oahu, back in 1972-3, in Aiea Heights. My youngest child was supposed to be born there, but my ex got sudden orders to Texas, so that was his birth state instead. We moved there two weeks before he was born, which was definitely cutting it close!

I've had the world map dreams like that too. One of mine I was standing like across the Gulf from Louisiana, in Mexico, I guess, and the whole toe of the Louisiana boot crumbled and fell into the ocean, which of course includes the part with New Orleans, so I'm worried about another Katrina-type storm there, as this was quite recent.

My experience on Oahu was that some beaches are more sheltered and have very small waves like that, but some beaches have like twelve foot waves all the time. My ex was a surfer when he was younger, even appearing in the background of some old sixties surfer movies because he could do tricks on a board while riding waves. Like walk around in circles on the board. Very cool. He loved the huge surf in Hawaii, but it terrified me! I was used to more sedate New England beaches. So I have to wonder what part of Oahu had normal waves of two feet, which is pretty small! A tsunami wouldn't be two foot waves. They'd have to be huge, way over your head.

I don't see any connection, personally to the swine flu. Unless you're at a luau and get bad pork? They do cook pigs. No, I think from experience, if it showed you a tsunami on a map, it's likely something related to natural disaster coming from the ocean, but two-foot waves wouldn't do it.

Now, a two-foot rise in sea level overall might eat away a lot of the land. That's different than a tsunmami or the wave height though. There are maps out there predicting land loss with global warming due to the rise in sea level. On those maps, the toe of the boot in Louisiana is one thing that is predicted to disappear. We might only be seeing what the environmentalists are predicting, rather than what is actually going to happen. In either case, we all need to do our bit to help the environment! Everything we can do to help curb global warming is important.

There are some beaches on the hawaiian islands that don't get big waves because they are sheltered by reefs. I hear what you are saying about the sea level. Because of the outbreak dream that I had and seeing the updates today on the swine flu, I thought that maybe that could be what it was.

I think its neat that you also had a map dream. I've never had one before this one. I know that this dream does mean something. Just need to figure out what it is. I pray that the meanings of my dreams will become clearer to me in the future so that I may be able to warn people and not just watch it happen when it comes to past.

Yes, I'm sure you're right about the reefs! I loved those beaches because the shades of blue in the water were so beautiful there, unlike our gray-green ocean in New England, where the water is much colder.

My favorite ever map dream was one of the United States with a huge butterfly imposed over the top of the map!

Butterflies are symbols of rebirth and resurrection, which I think you might know seeing your avatar. So, whatever it is that's going to happen, I think there is also that positive rising from the ashes coming as well. We'll be okay!

I had a very Similiar dream in March that gave me the EXACT SAME Message as your dream!?!

I remember everyone was watching the News in America & we were all "Preparing" for some catastrophic event. The News cast people were stating that we were going to have Tsunami's everywhere throughout the U.S including the inland areas which didnt make sense to me at the time. How could a tsunami REACH all the way in the Center of the US?

Here is the dream I had:

"America was expecting a Great Storm heard from the News. Everyone was preparing for it. It was almost as if the NEWS WAS SETTING US UP for something. But I believe the storm was like huge Tsunami's wiping out people. During this time my family & I were preparing for a birthday. The only birthday coming up (which we are all planning for now) Is my daughters 5yr birthday which is May 11th."

THis dream was BEFORE the Swine flue, but in another post I state that I believe the Tsunami was a meterphor for the Swine flu because a Tsunami will SNEAK UP on you. at 1st it will appear to be nothing to worry about as it moves further away from the shore, but eventually it becomes very Massive as it moves up & crashes down.

So, to me your dream is just another confirmation that were only being told what "THEY" want us to hear, which will eventually become a SHOCK to the rest of the people when the numbers jump up out of no where.

Also, my family at my grandmothers house has never had a birthday party for my son or daughter, they didnt suggest making it at their house until AFTER I had this dream....so that was already unusual.

It smelled like BS from the start, then I found this "commercial"

I read another interesting article about what the ingredients of those vaccines are, and it's all kinds of delightful, healthy stuff like mercury and chicken embrios & such.

I think they said that about 140 people have been killed so far worldwide. Really, I don't know how that equates to a "Pandemic." I used to work in a nursing home, and we had a bug going round called the Echo Virus, because you'd think you were getting better, and it would come back and slam you again. Just in that nursing home alone, seven patients died in a two week period from complications from this bug. That didn't keep the admin from insisting I and others come to work sick, against their own employee guidelines, and no one was calling it a pandemic. But the bug was widespread. Now if seven were killed in ONE nursing home, imagine how many others there were throughout the whole state.

Realistically speaking, 140 people worldwide is not that many people, and most probably have compromised immune systems so they are more vulnerable to *any* fly type illness. Often with the elderly, it turns to pneumonia, and that's what kills them.

I think the dream saying it was a TWO FOOT tsunami is like saying it's NOT going to be a big thing. A two-foot tsunami is kind of silly, really, very small waves! They wouldn't do much damage! So if it's prophetic, and actually about the swine flu, I'd say it's prophesying not much damage will be done by it.

The only place on record in the contintental United States to have ever been hit by a tsunami was Crescent City, California, and that tsunami was triggered by an earthquake off the coast of Alaska. I know this because my youngest son lives there. It only happened once, years ago.

Your feelings in the dream about the overall situation say much. You felt that there could be more to the situation than meets the eye initially. While it is true that H1N1 has not been a high mortality event so far, a mutation has been detected in THE key protein that affects the ability of the virus to attach to host cells; in effect, H1N1 in some locales has become more virulent.

There is a danger that is not necessarily dependent upon the severity of the virus at all, and that danger is the authoritarian steps our government may take based upon past executive orders and special emergency legislative powers that are already in effect. We don't have to be dying by the millions for life to change dramatically in our country, for checkpoints to be set up at state and local borders, for forced immunizations to be ordered for everyone over 3 years of age, for public gatherings to be limited, etc...

At the very least, the virus is the "excuse" or the "opportunity" for the Federal Gov' to take steps to strip away the last vestiges of our freedom.
