I do not know where this disastrous event will occur, but clues usually proceed the shift. Please note that I could be off on the dates a little... prophecy is not an exact science.

hi thanks for your concern to warn us. i hope this isn't true but we're bound to have one we live on earth! this is not Jesus' kingdom yet. my question to you is, what the hey does venus have to do with an earthquake? i know a bit about astrology but isn't venus the planet of love, beauty, & balance, i cannot see how you came to your conclusion. please shed some light. thanks.

There appears to be an earthquake "swarm" going on in both southern California and Alaska all day today and perhaps it will continue for a few more days. (Check USGS Earthquakes or IRIS Earthquake monitor, updated every few minutes.) Looks like there is a lot going on!

As to the timing of June 7 - 13 "when Mercury and Venus meet" - they do not actually enter a conjunction any time soon. The closest they come is on June 13 with Merc at 29 Taurus and Venus at 6 Taurus, which is an arc of 23 degrees, not really a conjunction (the closer the degree the more powerful the influence). Venus is in Aries until June 7 when it crosses over into Taurus, as Mercury is just leaving Taurus, so I don't really see that "Mercury and Venus meet" in the coming weeks. In October of 2009, there is a wide Merc/Venus conjunction in Virgo and it moves closer and closer until the 15th of October when it is only 6 degrees apart as both planets move into Libra. That is the closest this year that the two planets conjunct.....

I would like to ask e_mc02 what you mean by "when they meet"? Thanks for clarification.

I used the word meet because they will not conjunct. The two planets will meet on the same side of our sun... this was seen in a vision and is only the marker for the event to come. The visions of the worst has yet to come. I shall lay down my pen before this time comes. I bid you felicity and farewell.

Thank you, I had not thought of it from that perspective and was curious why you said "meet" - Mercury goes "direct" in early June and Venus is direct. Ok, that makes sense. And I so hope you are wrong about the quake. Many months ago (perhaps even a year), I woke up at 5:00 a.m., sat straight up in bed. In my mind was a "map" of the USA and these huge concentric rings were radiating out from Los Angeles and in my brain I heard the number "10" clear as a bell. I was so startled that I got up, my roommate was awake and doing some work already and I knew that he would have the news on, so I said "has there been a huge quake in LA this morning?" He looked at me funny and said that he hadn't heard of one, then later on the morning news was a story about some scientist(s?) who predicted a mega-quake of 10 or greater for the LA area being a likely possibility. In my dream, the ripples that radiated from LA went all the way up as far as Alaska and south well into S. America......

So if you guys know about astrology this will interest you too. Also on a post I linked a site that a person used a bible code and it said "two ten" "eight" So this person suspected a 8 magnitude earthquake would hit in 2010.

Even if the bible code isn't all that factual, it does seem like doom gloom. So we LA people are screwed if this is going to happen. Seems like it will.. ay yai yai!

when the big earthquake hits california it is going to change the face of the earth completely. it is going to be so severe the sun is going to look like it is going backward about 30 degrees in the sky. the states are going to split away along the mississippi and there will be land off the west coast that was the west coast. it will be the same for the east coast. the southern states will disappear and the northern states will rise and become an island off the eastern seaboard. the mississippi will be ocean dividing the eastern states and the reat of the U.S.A. land is going to split away from alaska. africa is going to split away and arabia will be inundated and much of it will sink. so will japan. the whole world is about to change. i have been trying for 25 years to tell the world of the messages i have been given by an angel in my dreams. i was told we have hardened our hearts and do not care. i see that was also true. there will be no place safe. i personally will not want to survive. all of the nuclear power plants are going to fall and that will be the slow death. it is coming. sooner than anyone knows. peace, kate

I have had quite a number of dreams about California, but not in a few months. Last summer, I dreamed I was on a boat due east of LA where there is a small chain of islands. There were thousands of dead fish floating in the water. Someone else on the boat reached over the side and said "the water is hot!" Suddenly I was standing on the beach looking seaward as a volcano suddenly arose from the sea where there has not been land before. I was not aware of these islands before this dream, but I looked at an atlas and found them to be the Catalinas.

Your comment about the sun moving reminded me of another dream I had some years ago. We lived in a different part of town then, and in this dream I woke up suddenly and looked at the clock and it said 2:22 a.m. But it was light outside. There was a howling wind, blowing impossibly in just one direction. And then it stopped. I threw on a robe and ran outside. People were coming out of their houses, rubbing their eyes, obviously awakened from sleep because I knew it was 2:30 in the morning because I was in bed. There were lots of people outside at this time and the sun was in the sky about 30 degrees above the horizon - and then it moved!! While I was still in this dream, I "understood" as sure as I've known anything that the earth's rotation had been stopped temporarily by some large object that had passed close to us with a gravitational pull strong enough to temporarily to stop the planet from rotating, perhaps even tipping the axis somewhat more than the 23 degrees it is at now - so the sun would appear to move in the sky. The really weird thing is that I wasn't frightened in this dream, it was more like a sense of awe. It had to be in the summertime, because people where outside in PJ's and no one was shivering or had stopped to grab a coat or anything. I remember thinking right before I woke up "how long will it be before the planet starts rotating again?" The thing is, if a such an unlikely event were ever to happen, when the planet stopped, then started again, there would be seismic activity and tsunamis on a simply unimaginably huge scale. It would probably be an extinction event and yet, no one in my dream appeared afraid, though certainly we should have been.......that's what made me remember this dream so clearly. Just thought I'd share these two dreams, though the second was not about California.

And to dreamintonight in California, I live near the Cascadia subduction zone which is so near the coast that we've been told we would have merely 10-15 minutes warning of a tsunami, nowhere near enough time to even think of evacuating. The zone near us is apparently nearly a copy of the one that caused the devastating tsuanami in Asia a few years back, potential of a 9.2, mass destruction, etc. If you ever get the urge to just "get out of Dodge" one day, I would follow up on that, as it might well be your intuition (or your Higher Self) sending you a warning to hoof it pretty quick. I don't mean to sound flippant, but my partner and I have always said if we get an overwhelming urge to suddenly be east of the Rockies, we have some friends in Alberta we could stay with........Good luck to all, and let's hope that our dreams are just dreams and not really portending something coming our way.
