Dreamed of a dead friend

I would like to share this story to everyone. Ever since I was young, I would dream of my dead relatives and sometimes they talk to me and sometimes no. I will post my other stories later. I will tell a story about one of my friend that passed away.

Few years ago, I was working and I recieved a phone call and when I looked at my phone it says Josh. I answered the call happily and said.. "Hey whats up Josh?". The other line answered and said.. "Sorry but this is not josh, This is his dad. He passed away yesterday with bone cancer and Im calling all his friends in his phone list to let them know." I started crying. Josh is only 21 and so young. His dad told me the date of the viewing and the day of his burial.

The day before his burial (Sat night) I kept thinking If I should go or not because I was already in trouble at work and I cant call in sick anymore. I was a waitress then and I work sundays too. That night I had this dream...

I saw Josh in my dream, greeted me happily. We walked around happy and He asked me if Im going to his burial tomorrow. I said yes I promised. After that, He showed me his silver coffin and what the chapel looks like. The chapel have two long chairs at right and left side. I saw him in the coffin but also at the same time, He is also at the right side of the chapel at the end standing up and looking at his coffin beside some people but they cant see him.

After that, He showed me his house. Ive never been to his house. I saw that inside his house looks really small. Theres a phone, and infront of the phone is a sofa and beside it is a window. He told me that he likes me and he offered me his hand and he wants me to hold it. When I was looking at his hand, His hand turned different color like the dead hand. I didnt touch it and he got mad. He went by the phone and told me that if he pulls the wire of the phone and it gets disconnected that my boyfriend will die. (I am engage with someone) I told him no please.. I will call your mom and let her know! I ran and went to the other side of the house and found a door and started banging the door hard and calling for his mom. Then I woke up...

I woke up one hour before his burial. I was really confused if should I go or not cause If I call in, I will be fired. I chose to work that day and regret till now that I didnt go. But anyways, Few days after that my cousin was talking to her friend and her friend is Josh cousin and my cousin told her about my dream. She was shocked that I know what the coffin looks like. She said that they will be going to Josh house with family and friends to pray for him. They invited me to go.

Before going to Josh house, I was really nervous. I told my Fiance that I might freak out if the house looks like the one I saw in my dreams. I was nervous. We pressed the doorbell and right when someone opened the door, I heard a phone ring. I looked at the right side of the house and saw the phone, the sofa and window that looked exactly in my dream. My Fiance looked at me too cause I described him what the place looked like in my dream. From there proved that it was really him that I saw in my dream. We talked to his family members and found out that I wasnt the only one that dreamed about him.
