scorpions

This is my first post, so I hope it goes through. I have been monitoring this site for several months and have seen some very interesting things and thanks everyone for posting your dreams. I had one early this morning, about 5:00 a.m., that was very disturbing. In the dream I was looking at a large map of the United States, but I was up somehow in the air. I wasn't looking at the "real" U.S. and knew it was a map because the state lines were drawn and there were names, etc. Anyway, in my dream about midway down the east coast, a black "spot" started to emerge from the map and then I saw that it was a scorpion, emerging out of the map. Then suddenly there were many many black scorpions spreading out from a central point until the whole eastern seaboard was covered in black scorpions. There was no sound in this dream and no one else that I remember, just this map with the scorpions spreading from a central point. I did a google search on the meaning of scorpions in dreams and most of them equate scorpions with danger or poison. The dream was quite frightening, not in a direct way (like you'd be frightened if someone threatened you with a gun), but in a very creepy way like a horror movie......I have no idea what this means and would appreciate any insight you folks have. Hmmm. I just responded to a post on prophecies.us/yabb, another site which I post on regularly. That person had seen something about East Coast, southern. I responded that I'd had a feeling re a general area between Virginia Beach and Atlanta. I know 2 people in Atlanta, but haven't contacted in years, and my
grandson goes to vacation in VB every summer with his Mom. Rest of time he is here in CO. I just have felt a tug to that area, like 'something'.... felt it was something physical, earthwise or manmade but not economic..just a vague sense the last 2-3 months. Maybe vague because I don't really have any other connection except as mentioned.

I do not personally have any connection to that area and have only visited the Eastern seaboard back in the '70s. I actually live in Canada on the West Coast. My first thought was perhaps some sort of natural disaster ... but of course, dream images are so highly symbolic that I could be completely wrong. But, thinking about scorpions and poison, when Katrina happened, the waters were contaminated with all kinds of industrial waste, oil, pesticides, etc, so perhaps I was seeing something of that nature. Thanks for your thoughts.
