Panic from a PLANe Crash

This dream happened about a week from todays date I was riding ( On the passenger side ) of a really good friend of mine, We were laughing and catching up on good times. driving down a familiar road in a neighborhood we both grew up in. We seen a large space craft ( reminded me of the ufo's on Independence day ) hovering too closely to the houses . we watched in horror as crowds started developing and chaos formed in the streets. All of a sudden the flying object crashed and i got a overwhelming sense of wanting to help the people in the aircraft. we were driving too slowly trying to navigate around the crowds. I jumped out of the car and began running to the crash site. I felt that I wanted to try and save at least one person. when i made it to the scene the plane had transformed into a military tank with about 4 army men inside they werent hurt , they were talking and laughing so i walked by them, amazed at the survival but still confused. Can anyone give me any idea about this dream.
