What would you do...?

I know what is going to happen with one of my friends and a situation they are in. That situation is going to affect me whether or not I say anything. If I stay silent, they will blissfully go about thinking what is happening is real, if I talk, it will change everything in ways I can't understand. Whether for good or bad, I don't know yet.
What would you do?
Let your friend blissfully live a lie, or take a chance they might be unhappy and change it?

I am old now, and have kept dream journals for 36 years, and remember precognitive dreams going back to preschool years.

The ability to see ahead raises the hope in us that we can change what we see for the better. I am very sorry to say, I have nothing to encourage that belief in my experiences. In fact I think it's probably likely that any attempt to change things is part of what makes them happen. I've faced some serious things in my life which I would have done anything to change, and I tried to, but I couldn't.

If you value this persons friendship, stay silent, but listen to them. You will keep their friendship, and later you can say I kind of knew but wasn't sure; let them save face. I've done the telling upfront, and all it meant was I valued my sense of importance more than them...And I let that ruin our relationship as well.

But I sense from your letter you will say something. That's an experience too.

Thank you. I think actually, I'm going to stay silent. I don't want to lose anyone, and if it happens, I can always try and help later. I value them more than my sense of self importance. Thank you for this advice. It is my decision but I hope I don't live to regret it.
