Weird dream

The other night I had the following very clear dream:-
I was walking by a low stone wall and came across a huge and friendly robin, it was about 10 inches tall! I patted the bird on the head and it jumped up onto my arm, almost seeming to smile? We then walked on with the robin happily sat on my arm which was across my stomach, We then came across another robin though normal size, my big robin took one look at it and promptly ate it! We then met my wife who asked what is that? I said its a robin! She said "Look, it's not real, it's legs are made of bamboo!" I looked down and saw they were!...End of dream!
Am I going mad? Any ideas anyone?

Birds have wide range of vision, they fly in the air, air representing free thought, ideas and self expression. The type of bird is vital to your interpretation.

I suggest you research the type of bird you saw in your dream, there is a saying as in the natural so in the spiritual. There could be an aspect in the way the bird lives that will give insight into your dream.


When reading your dream this is my impression: Robin I associate with childhood. Robin redbreast - winnie the pooh, who killed cock robin a nursery tale.
The robin that was eaten was it real? There is a question here of what is real and what is fake. There must be some dividing line. Walls are to keep things in or out. Boundaries in your life. The wall is low but it is strong because you walked along it. You did not walk over it or on it. The wall is made of stone it is solid not easily broken.

In your dream, you had a robin that was bigger than other robins. It was better than other robins to the point that it could eat the other robins. You were proud of your robin. Then, along comes your wife and points out flaws in what you had considered to be your perfect robin.


I could be way off, but...

Do you get the feeling from this dream that people (or perhaps your wife specifically) are taking the joy out of or pointing out flaws in things that you take pride in?



Regardless, I don't think you're going mad.

Yes, I actually thought that it could be something like that but it doesn't really fit as I am quite relaxed in things actually appreciate it if flaws are pointed out in what I do. I'm not perfect and am very happy in that.
I have a strong feeling that it is maybe kind of prophetic and that the birds represent something or somebody.
I do believe we can see the future but this is not necessarily given to us clearly.
Perhaps I may dream a little more on the subject?
