River Runs Dry
I had a dream that I was flying above the Colorado river in an area where the walls of the canyon are on both sides and as I got closer to the surface of the water the river became smaller and smaller until it was just a trickle and I was trying to figure out what happened to all of the water - did it just run deeper....but when I touched the trickle it was shallow and I remember thinking the water didn't dry up - but that it was somewhere else...

Colorado Bend
Very interesting. The Coloroado Bend in Texas has some areas that look like this with beautiful high cliff canyon walls. The very interesting fact that you say the water disappears... since the entire area is known for caves and caverns. One of the largest being Longhorn Caverns near Lake Buchanan which is where the Colorodo River empties into. This would be disasterous for Texas since the Colorado is our primary source of electricity. I'm sure I would have seen this... perhaps it happens after our time.
