prophetic dreams in the past...are my dreams now?

Hi Everyone! I'm new here but I am really confused lately and bombarded with dreams. My ex (we were engaged with a wedding date set and planned) and I broke up 11 months ago and at first, I was dreaming a lot about him. It trailed off to about once a week which I figured was normal. However, the dreaming has increased. In the past, I've had prophetic dreams. In fact, my job and the past two jobs were jobs that I specifically had dreams about. I knew the names and places and told my friends so that they were able to confirm about a year later when I got the job. Both were places that I didn't ever even consider working. This job was just as unexpected.

I don't know if that has anything to do with what will happen or not. They seem so real and it's always him saying he still loves me and stuff. I know it could have to do with me still thinking about him, but right now, I'm honestly okay if we aren't together and I've totally accepted it. We don't talk at all in any way. Please let me know if you need more specifics and I will tell you about a dream or something. I just don't want this first post to be super long. I just wanted to see what everyone thought. My counselor mentioned something in the past and even asked if I dreamed about him since it sometimes means there is still a connection.
