War dream??

I have had many different dreams but them all seem to be in the same time. In on of my dreams, Im in this city everything seems to be in ruin. I dont know what really happened but it seem to have been War related. I remember this child that came to me. He asks me Where is my Daddy? I look at him his face is cover in dirt and his cloths were worn and torn in many different places. This boy looks at me staring in my eyes looking for anwsers. I felt so lost.. In another dream about night after the one above... I dreamt that i was back in the city this time I had a gun. I think i was a soldier... At least that is what it felt like. As I walked down this road i could hear gun shots, yelling, and explosions. I began to run toward it. As i was running i seen this woman in maybe her early 20's... I dont know why i remember her but i do know she was so scared... Even to this day i close my eyes and i can picture her face.... So much lost in her eyes. I finally get to where the all action is taking place and this man yells to me to grab ammo for him. I couldnt see what he was shooting at because it was so cloudy from gun smoke and dust. But this man when he looked at me it felt like he knew i didnt belong there. Like he knew i was watching... I dont know how to explain it any other way.. besides it felt like the feeling you get when you are spying on some one and you feel like they know you are spying them. I have had many other dreams like the ones above but still can't figure them out. These dreams feel so real... And some times Ill wake up and have cuts from where i got cut in a dream... I feel like Im crazy sometimes... and i dont know where else to turn to for answers... So i guess that why I am writing this... at least this way i wont be judged....

Whilst reading your story I felt as if this were something that happened in your past somewhere in France during World War II. Remember time is but an illusion but with purpose.
