A Possible Prophetic Dream?

Hi! My dream is where I'm a doctor working in a hospital and I am attending to a small, young boy of about five or six years of age. I asked him what his name was, and he said his last name aloud to me, which happened to be the last name of a dear friend of mine. Then, the friend, whom I haven't seen in years, show up in the dream and doesn't remember me, though I remember her. I actually look her in the eyes and ask her if she doesn't remember me, and she doesn't.

When I get accepted into college this coming year, I want to be a psychologist, but the setting in the dream seemed more like a pediatrician's office or a general hospital. I'm also worried that I'll forget her, but I'm more worried that she'll forget me eventually.

For all of you who have commented on my dreams before, it's the same person I've been dreaming of for the past two years. Any ideas?

heh i have dreams of someone that i once knew and was very special to me and i have the same fear that you do when i think of this particular someone. that i will forget them or they will forget me. everyone keeps telling me i need to get over it but i cant for some reason or other others have told me to seek this individual out so that i might have some closure. im scared to take either of those ideas for what might happen. so in a way it seems to me that this the fact that this individual has a child that you are caring for means that she has moved on at least in your dreams and that maybe you need to move on with your life also and that this is your subconsious trying to tell you to let it go.

as for you going to school and becoming a pshychologist its great to have a plan for what you want it to be but leave a little room for leeway i started going to college because i thought i wanted to learn computer programming then switched to wanting to be a paramedic then found out that wasnt what i wanted either and finally got someone to help me focus and figure out what i wanted to study which is called molecular biology or biocheistry. so your dream in that respect might be trying to let you know that there are other possibilities and not to close them off but keep them in consideration.
