Lightbulb Prophetic Dreams

Hello. I'm excited to find some people who understand this feeling!!! These dreams happen to me QUITE often. I agree with all of the previous posters who say it's not deja vu. I don't feel as though I've done these things before. I KNOW I've dream't them. There are more instances then I can count, I've done it for years, more frequently as I get older. They are always about me personally; not the fate of the world or anything. They are usually a few months to a year in advance, and seem kind of inane at the time I have them. For example, I recently quite my secure, corporate job to go with a private company where I have part ownership and full authority. My new building is still under construction, though. Just a couple of days ago one of my dreams came to life as I was standing on dirt before the concrete was poured, talking with my assistant about some of the people we'd hired. It clicked in my head that I had dream't that scene LONG before I had ever even known about this new job, let alone interviewed for it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to put them to better use. I never know when I have one which dream will be prophetic. I wish I had better incite to that. Thanks for listening! I'd love any thoughts or shared stories!

So, is everyone answering the whole 'seeing-the-future-in-dreams' thing with religion?
Cause, no offence, but I'm not religious and I experience the same things as this person. I have no problem with religion, and I respect it, but I don't particularly believe it.

Anywhoo, just wondering if that's what everyone is saying in explaination.

Default my response

I guess you may heard the quick answer before, dream journal. But really, I had by first harbinger dream when I was young and I spoke to this girl's mom who pulled out her personal dream journal and showed it over to me. She said that I should write down my dreams, even the boring ones and review them now and then to see if they are scenes of future events that may help you. When she showed me the book I got a weird feeling and asked why are you showing me something so personal. She answered by flipping through the book obviously looking for an entry. Then she found what she was looking for and pointed it out to me to read. The book entry was a old dream of her's summarized as "Boy who is friend of Lisa (her daughter) asks me for advice on dreams. He was cute, interesting to talk to , and stared alot at my breast" The entry was clearly about me. Odd. If you can keep track of your dreams then check over them every now and then and see if any can help you in the future.
That's my humble advise, hope it helps.

Your on point Resin. I could not have said it better. I have them quite frequently. They come in 2s meaning they are "split level" usually the first is the same as the second or a reinforcement. For clarity I have one dream but that one dream is split into two. God sometimes answers my prayers this way, especially if I asked a specific question but he mostly warns me this way, or shows me what is to come. And yes I have a dream journal. I almost stop writing them down. I thought I had a gift that I hadn't been trained to use and in a sense I'm still learning. I found this sight trying to ease my anguish at not knowing exactly what the numerous dreams meant.

On several occasions throughout history dreams have been credited for causing very important events. This includes problem solving, decision making, and apparent Precognition while dreaming. This phenomena has been variously interpreted.

Yeah, I'm not religious either, and have dreams which come true very regularly. At least once a week where I feel as though I have been in that place or doing that action in my dreams.

The feeling is very unsettling and it scares me.
