Hitting Rock And Water Comes Out

in the dream...i was supposedly on some camping trip with some guys from church...in real life...i did this once...and it seemed to be the same people.


i was put in charge of hitting this rock with a hammer so that water would come out...i guess this water was for us to use.



and it did...and there was a question of whether or not it was OIL or WATER...



however...after I hit it...a certain ammount of water came out but unfortunately...i didn't put it in anything...like a cup or something.


so for the rest of the dream I just kept hitting and hitting it...but no more water came out.

This is possibly about an anger problem. Do you have an anger problem? Do you blame others in your Christian community for problems that arise? Moses also had these problems and it cost him his final Destiny. Even though he went very far, he missed out on the Promised Land. I believe God wants you to deal with your anger, and learn to forgive. Then you will enter into your personal promised land season.

Exodus 17:6
I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink." So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Numbers 20:9-11
9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD's presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?" 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.

This is where Moses blew it. He was angry with the people, and sinned by acting out of anger not faith.

Numbers 20:12
12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."

God wants you to Honor Him as Holy.

Were you raised in the church? Do you have a pretty laid back approach to God? Do you try to solve your own problems in the flesh?

These are questions that only you can answer. I believe that as you deal with the stronghold of anger, blaming others, treating the things of God with Holy reverence and fear, God will raise you to a new level of anointing.

God is allowing you to experience some of the wisdom/anointing/blessing in the way you are currently operating. God is calling you upward and higher, asking you to build your character, and grow in maturity. Then you will no longer have to hit the rock to gain what God wants for you. You simply will speak and the water will flow out.

Zechariah 14:8
On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.
John 4:10
Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."
John 7:38
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

You heard the message, you initially were all in for it, but then you paused and thought again. The message was true but you had a doubt and in vain you kept hammering away, and nothing.
