Sword of fire...

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site..not new to dreams.

I have had a recurring dream for the last eight years. The dream changes every so often but the theme is the same.

I am in a fire chariot being pulled by white horse all in armor. There is a large army of people (not sure if they are men or women) following behind me. We are in the desert chasing men from the east into a valley, I get the sense that they are "evil". In my dream there is fire coming out of my mouth and I am holding up a large sword in a "charge" motion..the dream is always very intense and I am filled with wrath.

Fire is always in these dreams..sometimes the desert is ablaze..other times there is fire coming from my hands..another common dream.

The fire never burns me and never hurts.

Last week I had a dream of a man "rain dancing" in the desert. The desert was on fire and after some time it began raining. Then a whirlwind came out of the west. It pulled all the rain and fire into one gigantic tornado like thing (I dream about this a lot!). In my dream I became the man dancing in the desert and a voice came out of the sky and said the flood is coming.

Last night I had a dream that "god" told to seek guidance for my dreams and tell them that he sent it with the number three.

I don't attend a church ( I did a few years ago), so I can't really walk into one and ask for an interpretation

I have had too many dreams with these themes to recount them all, but these are the most recent.

Any ideas??

In the Bible, in Revelation, GOD sends two witnesses to prophesy to sinners and they have the power to kill with fire from their mouths. It is written,

Revelation 11:5
If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.

Also,
Revelation 11:6
6These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

Revelation also features a white horse, and also an army in white, led by Jesus, who is the rider on the white horse comming to make war. He has a sword that comes from His mouth.
Revelation 19:11
[ The Rider on the White Horse ] I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

Revelation 19:19
Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.

As for the rain, the Bible predicts the dessert will bloom. Also rain in the Bible is often used as a symbol for blessings from GOD while both the fire and the desert are symbols of hardship designed to test the spirit of a person, that the person or persons become better people afterwards. So the rain dream is essentially healing and blessing after a time of difficulty.


I would say the first dream where you are chasing enemies in the dessert, since it is filled with Biblical imagery, is saying that you can beat back all the spiritual forces of Satan that have come againist YOU by using the Bible. for the fire / sword that comes from GOD's mouth is the words He spoke in the Bible. The dream says you being called by GOD to the ministry He will show you that as a result of which the forces of evil shall be driven out. Any time GOD sends something 3 times or refers to the number 3, that means that it is an authentic message from GOD (this in the Bible). It is also interesting you have had the dream 8 times. The gemetria or the number of the name of Jesus is 888. This could be further confirmation for you. Weather you believe in God or not, this is what your dreams seem to be telling you.

I'm only writing this to tell you that I believe your dreams, my dream, and one other's dream are all linked in some way. The fire in yours and my dream seem to be related. I know there is a purpose for me..in fact..I have had it layed out to me by the holy spirit. I have these visions while I am awake. The encounters are very intense.

In the past, I have been prayed over in the church and my hands begin to burn. I know for me, that meant a spiritual warfare of sorts.

I am not afraid of Satan or any of his flunkies. I have encountered the nasty little ones and they tend to run away.

I had a dream once that Satan was in my house in the northern most room. The room was glowing red. He was taunting me..I entered a long hallway, towards the room he was in. The hallway got longer and longer. I started running towards him, rebuking him, singing and dancing. I asked why he dared to speak to the daughter of the risen king. I told him he was fighting a war which he had already lost and then he was gone. Later, a voice spoke and told me the spirit of Elijah was upon me. Again, I saw myself in the desert, dancing.

I will post more dreams later. There is one I had where China and Russia start a war in the middle east. It wasn't scary, at least for me, I know who wins the final war. So...fear not

this dream is similar to me when you said you are blazing fire and holding a sword filled with wrath.

this is what I said...

the other dream is that I was taking this boy in a carriage into a safer place and I found a garden It has surrounded by fence and in the middle is a big dark stone and there I put him in top of this huge dark stone then the special boy sent me away. He touch me and said "Go". In my mind I understand what he meant. When he push me and say go. I went around and around him in air in circle and starting to fly like a wind and I started to have wings and my clothes change and my body and wings started to flame and all of the sudden I am holding a sword and it is in flame also and I have this strong feelings of wrath to distroy a city.

That is very interesting because I have other one also which is God sent his angels to watch people and to be a spy of God. I post a thread title the four angels. I too battle Satan in my dream when I rejected Satan's offer in my dream. He is trying to imprisson me in real life which is now I am facing in court. Rediculous charge by the way.


I also saw that there is a war going to come. I saw nazi in my dream and they killed people mostly asian. When I research them most of the nazi party are in Russia and they target other race like asian or none white that migrates in their country. They are also in US which is scary.

I hope God gave you good news because we are in Satan's world and we are not welcome here.

At first glance your dream seems to be like the Egyption Pharo chasing the Isrealites. The symbolism says different.

The fire chariot itself has several different meanings. The carige of the chariot symbolizes your existance between heaven and earth, and each wheel of the chariot symbolizes, one for heaven, and the other for earth. Is the same symbol for the wheels in the sky. This is backed up by where the people are, both in front of you, and behind you. This is Jacobs ladder!

Jacobs ladder is symbolized by a long line of people, but you get to cut in front of the line, in order to take a peak at what it is everyone is in line for. Jacobs Ladder has been described as like a person who comes to a wall they cant see over, and is given a ladder to climb up to see whats on the other side. The other side being heaven.

The people ahead of you are your ancestors, the people behind you is your family to come.

The fire symbolizes Gods creation, and in that creation there is a stiff set of rules that no one can break because that would be sinfull. So the fire is final, its also the first number which is 1. All symbolizing the heaven side of the wheel.

The water symbol is Jesus, the water that can quench the fire. This is temperment, a humble state. By the test of fire, in a humble state of repentance. This is the number 2. All symbolizing the earth side of the wheel. The number two is also called set, like in a salt and peper set, and is also to be set, as there are two who are set with one purpose.

I have never heard of Jacob's Ladder before, at least, not actually described.

The dream of the chariot has some features that I left out. First, the people that we are chasing are being rebuked or punished. They are running in fear, not challenging us. I get the sense that I am very angry with them.

So, I guess, per your suggestions, they could be unrepentant ancestors?

Second, the army that is following is dressed in white robes and I do get the sense that they are pure.

That could be symbolic of the future repentance. Hmmmm.. I will really need to pray about this.

I don't have anyone I can really speak to about these dreams or the things I have been seeing while I am awake.

I am trying to find a church and will continue to pray about these things. The problem (not really a problem), is that I live in an area where the churches are extremely conservative and not open to spiritual gifts, which I whole heartedly believe in.

My home is my new sanctuary. In fact, I have come to know the lord in a way I never did in church....not to say I don't want to return.

Also, the dreams of the whirlwind of fire, water and air combined are usually about the final war. The whirlwind comes out off the west and a dove flies out of it.

It is recurring in my dream of the final war with Iran, China and Russia.

In fact, the dream of the desert was the first time I had seen the whirlwind outside of the dreams of war.

I beleive in the spiritual gifts also, with one twist you might want to consider.

The reason for your increased relationship with God, is the fact of the absence of a church.

Also that the Gifts of the Spirit are for when we need them the most, for when the lies of the world get in the way of finding God. The Gifts are used as we need them, not that we get one and thats the end of it. We get them to overcome the world.

I found that God later placed things and people to interpret my dreams for me, i might find them in scripture, but always as part of my life.

I was looking for Gods people among the world, and hidden in lies and cursed by the world i found them. Not because of any church or its doctrines, but because of how the people were, compaired to how i knew God. In much the same way i see you doing it. Im not allowed to tell you, its against the rules. If anyone is to have faith in what God shows them, they have to find it for themselves, it just means much more if God does it. If anyone might come out and tell you, you might actually fight against the thought.

Jesus was hung on a tree, crusifyed on a cross, to become a curse, because all those who had this done were cursed of the world. Then they went after all those who followed Jesus, untill they were no more. This is a proven fact they went underground, but were always turned over to athoritys.

I was shown that Elijah the prophet came back, and a angel told me there were people coming to get me, and through divin intervention i was shown everything. You will be too shown.

I am on the outside of my families belief system. The things that have been happening in my life are not possible following their doctrine.

The Lords hand over my life says other wise:

The first dream that I remember is one that I had when I was four or five years old.

I climbed into the overhead garage at our apartment. Inside the double door was a stairway. The stairway spiraled up into heaven and there were angels in white robes climbing up and down looking very busy. The thing that stood out most, was the fact that the stairs were free-standing, no walls or nothing beneath them.

I ascended all the way to the top and the Angel Gabriel was waiting behind a mahogany desk. He pointed to a set of mahogany double doors and told me HE was waiting for me.

I approached the door and a voice came out from behind it telling me to turn back, it wasn't my time yet. I was so sad. I wanted to stay with him.

I knew at that young age that the Lord was calling me; I insisted that my mother start taking me to church during the week, just to be nearer to the Lord (which I believed that he lived at the altar of our church LOL).

I looked up Jacob's Ladder yesterday and it showed a painting by William Blake. It was my stairway to heaven that I dreamed about when I was five. Again, reaffirming my belief that the Lord has his hand on my life.

I know that the Lord reaches out and calls people from all walks of life, all places in the world and all places. I have not been a "member" of a church for some years, so my family cannot understand why the lord would come to me in such a profound way in my home and my life.

To me, the answer seemed simple. My heart desires HIM. I seek HIS face and not HIS "powers" or self-glorification. I asked that he reveal HIMSELF to me and I call out to him. Mostly, because I listen!!

I don't know my Bible as well as I should, shame on me, I suppose. My philosophy when I was younger was to know him personally, not just know about him through written word. I became rigid.

It is the problem today with the church. We are such scholars and yet so few people know HIM personally. So few people can say with conviction that the lord speaks to them, so few people ask his guidance, wait for an answer and then follow.

May we all humble our selves and seek HIS face daily,

You are spiritual person and not attach to material thing that this world has to offer. You are free and spiritual and much closer to God. God is in our heart and the only currency that you can give is your love. If you want to get intouch with God just always feel the love inside of you and always free your mind from troubles and he will answer you for guidance.
