a month ago i thought about an ex .. he and i had not been in contact for 7 years. i have scarcely thought about him during that time. the dream i had was very lucid and vivid - i dreamt that he and i were together and had fallen in love. i woke up several times but everytime i fell asleep he was there. each dream was like a chapter. it felt so so real. if my memory serves me right, i have never dreamt of him. the dream was so profound i called my friend and told her. two weeks later, he searched for me on the internet and found me. is this prophetic?
in a way i feel its dangerous.. it's as though the dream wired my brain to fall in love with him.

it doesnt seem dangerous at all. i think you should socialize with him and see where it goes. desitany is nothing without the first step.

i cant socialise with him because i'm convinced that i'm in love with him. that night my brain was wired to love him!

Love will conquere all. People do all kinds of things for love, beatles wrote a song money can't buy me love. Love is the greatest feeling, the Bible said love is the greatest. Love is kind, forgiving and paitent. Love is more than a feeling it's an action too. People will sacrifice pride, they will jump through hoops, and swim an ocean for love. Everyones situation is different one person will do for love what another won't. So the question is what will you do for love? GOD bless you.

i wouldn't call that prophetic. but it does seem like it is a message from God, but a personal one dealing with your life not the state of the church. it is not a lightweight dream, and i have had some like that before. all i can say is that they are very special and i still wonder about some of those dreams today. i don't know if God created soul mates but you and this person you dreamed about could be partners.

Many years ago, I had a prophetic dream...At the time I was working as a waitress and I had an extremely vivid dream about a waiter that worked at the same restaurant. In the dream I was changing in the tiny employee bathroom, when this waiter walked in and began passionately kissing me...he absolutely took my breath away...I awoke from the dream in utter shock! First of all, I hardly ever remembered dreams, and they were never vivid in that way. Also I was married with a child and not looking for another man...I barely knew the waiter I had dreamed about. During the next few years I discovered that my husband was not who I thought he was, he left my daughter and I for a high school girl! After months of despair and anger, I finally started getting out with friends and one of them mentioned that the waiter from my dream had been asking about me! It was a couple of years since I had worked with him, but he still worked at the same restaurant. I stopped by that friday night and when I saw him I asked him out ( I had never done anything like that in my life! ) He agreed after he found out that I was no longer married. We have been happily married for 19 years. We are both christians and I believe the dream was a sign from the Lord.

thanks a lot for the comments and sharing your experience with me. yeah i don't think it is necessarily prophetic but i do believe that there was something very spiritual about the experience. he has not married and doesn't have a partner so i think it was a message. but i know i shouldn't take it too seriously - even though i can't help it! - because he didn't have the same dream. he does confess to having feelings for me but i don't think he is in love like i am. he is in another country .. i don't really know what to do..
