Dream of My Ex-Boyfriend: Please Help Analyze!

Earlier this week I had a dream that my ex-boyfriend gave me a letter professing his feelings to me along with a silver ring. The silver ring had a cross and a heart emblem on it. I remember listening to him as he read the letter, but feeling nothing. I also remember looking at the ring on my hand over and over again quite confused about everything. His parents were in the background of the dream and I recall the number 5 for some reason. What could all of this mean?

the ring symbolize completion being whole inside your feelings. You wanted something that completes you and you needed some kind of message to complete that thought. the cross symbolize sacrifice and the heart is happiness means in your dream is sacrificing happiness.
