Default And so I was named " The Prophet"

Ok first off i'd like to say i'm just a normal guy. I think ghosts are cool and believe in the after life and i'm a cancer, which my friend keeps trying to say proves i should be "connected" to spirits and thinks it explains my dreams. I personally think the zodiac has nothing to do with it. All i know is i go to sleep and i see things. My dreams change, thats how i know if its a prophetic dream or not. The ones with meaning are more real. Less distorted by my mind and random thoughts. And it always takes months for it the happen.

MY friends wont care, so i'll use some names and this one is, by no means, the only one and isnt even the most recent, it was just the biggest. It was a long dream but i'm going to cut to the part that matters.

I was sitting in a room. I was sitting cross legged with a guiar in my lap, on the floor, leaning back against the wall. To Either side of me, along the wall, were doors. There was a bed infront of my with red sheets and a black comforter. The carpet was kind of blue-ish. Sort of infont of me, on my left, was a boy with long black hair that looked vaguely familiar and a girl with long black hair was sitting next to him. Sitting on the corner of the bed was another boy with long black hair, a rage agaisnt the maching t-**** and torn up jeans and laying beside him on her stomach was another girl with long black hair, pulled into a bun. Lastly, sitting on the side of the bed just infront of my was a girl with brilliant green eyes and long blonde hair, wearing a quiznos uniform. We all talked, them more-so than me, and just hung out. End of dream.

Close to 6 months later my friend, tom, who had moved to another state, had called me and asked if i wanted to go visit him. I did and a few days later we were in his town. By now i had noticed one thing different about tom, but i'll get to that later becuase it didnt really register at the time. The first thing we did after dropping our stuff off at his house was go to his friend codi's house becuase thats where all of toms new friends usually hung out. We got there and the only one there was codi, but as he hung out, more showed up until finally the last girl in the group got there.

Out of nowhere it hit me, as dreams like this usally do. I was sitting in the same room, with the same people, wearing the same clothes and having the same convorsation. I was sitting with codi's guitar in my lap. Infront of me on the left was tom. Remember when i said i noticed something different? His air was long and he had dyed it black. Next to him was his girlfriend bre. On the far corner of the bed was codi, in a rage agaisnt the machine shirt and the same torn up jeans, laying next to him was his girlfriend lesha. Lastly sitting on the bed infront of me was Annie, fresh out of her job at quiznos and still wearing the uniform.

It was so massive to me that i kind of had a small panic attack, and for a good part of the convorsation i knew what everyone was going to say and even told codi his mom wanted to talk to him just minutes before she walked in and said it herself. When they asked my how i did that i just said i heard her calling. I didnt tell any of them for a while after that, with the exception of tom, becuase i didnt want them to think i was crazy. But yea, thats my dream, well, one of them.

Default you are not alone

I had a dream that I went to Jamaica for a family members wedding and we hardly knew the bride or her family. I remember standing around seeing the wedding party sitting around for breakfast or something, but not knowing who they were. The wedding never ends up happening and I woke up.
Then 1 year later we were invited to Jamaica for my brother in-law's wedding to a woman he just got involved with for less than a year. Her family came down to. And the wedding got called off after breakfast ended. My nephew came and found me on the beach and was excited because I shared this dream with him and he wanted to tell me how my dream was right.
I was shocked, but almost had a sense of knowing that was going to happen anyway.

I actually love dreams like that. When I was younger I was very forgetful and I always forgot my homework. So the day before I was supposed to turn in homework(s), I would have a dream about me coming into school the next day and not having my homework and getting into a lot of trouble. So as soon as I woke up I would go get my homework and put it in my book bag and take a bath and get ready.

Or before I had dreams about what would happen in the future, when that moment happened in real life, I would be like deja vu. Or sometimes I don't recollect having any dreams the night before, and it happens the next day or a few days later.

What I'm trying to say is, dreams like yours shouldn't creep you out, they could actually serve you a lot of help.

I would say that you have a real gift in seeing into the future. Don't go by the title prophet. Let God give you this name though others. Your gift will make a way. Just be a humble servant of the Lord.

Default the prophet?

I am not sure he is a prophet. I am looking at what he had written and I am not certain I am discerning a Spirit of Truth. Every now and again I seek out the dreams of others to see whom God appears to be speaking to directly.

The dream he had does not have, like something...of needed...I am trying to put knowledge and experience into specific words without being too offensive; but when going thru the Bible the prophets were given visions and dreams that would assist some one else, or a group of people. The Old Testament prophets usually had a word of repentance for Israel and individuals (Saul and David). The Lord Jesus spoke of repentance and that the kingdom of heaven was available right then for those who would turn to Him. Paul, and Peter had dreams and visions that consisted of helping Macedonia, and the gentiles being received into the kingdom thru the strong word....reeppeennttance.

To say someone has a dream of people getting together isn't enough to say he is having prophetic dreams that are of the inspiration of Truth. Was the Spirit of conviction available? Was there repentance? Was the Spirit of Truth enlightening them and inspiring them to...change? Was there edification, exhortation, or comfort?

Ghosts are cool? Which ones? I have never met friendly ghosts. I have blessed many houses, and every spirit I have encountered that occupies a house is demonic. Women have complained of being abused by them, fear torments them and their children, and sometimes their spouses takes on the character of the demon.

I am convinced he had a dream, and it happened to come to pass because of familiarity with other spirits like his. I am convinced he calls himself a prophet, in the name of his own name.
