I have dreams that always come to pass. What I need help with is the fact that in these dreams I'm always somebody else. I have had to watch people I love hurt and I see the darkness coming but how do I warn those I love without them believing that I'm a crazy person. I have never, and am not supposed to, tell exactly what I have seen. Is there anybody on this website that has to struggle with these issues? If so please tell me how I am to deal with knowing the events that are about to unfold and not tell the ones I love.

What you are experiencing is not unusual and it raises the question of tact and/or diplomacy in your dealings with others. It is a problem that only maturity and experience can teach how to deal with it competently. The problem is that those whom you recognise are in some way at risk, and especially where it can be avoided, they either do not wish to hear what you have to say (unless you have a PhD) or they do not believe you; in either case it is a form of denial on their part. It is a sad tale but that's life. Furthermore, there are always charlatans who are crazy mimmicks and those who are genuine cannot be distinguished from them. If you advise even the closest relative or friend and they chose to ignore you, and your warning manifests itself, invariably they will hate it and project the hatred on to you. If you ever say to them, "I told you so" then that will almost certainly place a wedge in the relationship. My wife is my confidant so I tell her my concerns about others and, if those others are sufficiently close relationshipwise, we make the odd inuendo, or approach the topic indirectly without assumming the air of authority which friends or others hate, so we raise the topic and discuss it in a manner that leaves the obvious deduction to themselves. There will be times when you will need to stand aside, or even be compelled to maintain one's own counsel in the wider interest of harmonious relationships, and by doing so watch the other die due to their own intransigency. This occurred with myself and my first wife and with a daughter. Others will not believe unless you 'walk on water'. Some of the very few who accept what you say will, at times, steal the credit for themselves. Eventually you will become a tad blase and let circumstances unfold when you become an observer. Try never to allow this to upset your own life; we are, in the end, our own executioner.

the thing I do is I often don't know it's a prophetic dream until the events
actually happen then the dreams flood back and I get this strong sensati- on that washes over me, it's kind of hard to describe the sensation, like a 'gut' feeling. So if it's something I really get a strong feeling about, I go more by the 'gut' feeling I get as things happen then by the dreams them selves because dreams can be distorted, scattered and a tad off base he re and there, and I handle the situations based on the instincts I pick up about them. I've actually been able to prevent certain parts of situation s that happen just by going by the instincts that I pick up from them, I haven't been able to stop events entirely from playing out but sometimes the outcome of the event can be changed just by preventing something small. Don't beat yourself up over what you can't control it just makes y ou feel drained. |

You will see from my post above, "Coincidence or precognition, who can tell?" that I posted a dream on this site 18 months ago and it has since come to pass but even having done this, who is about to believe it or, indeed, who is interested? This is not exactly the same problems as yours but there are similarities.
