Someone help interpret this please

I had a dream last week on Thursday the 6th of March....
I was standing outside on my back patio, talking with an "ex" friend I do not respect anymore at all....I looked to my left and saw a large, metalic black bee. (looked it up, seems to have been a carpenter bee) It was lying on the ground in distress, like it was cold or injurred. I looked up from it and noticed 2 more that were mounted together, either mating or exchanging something in flight. I looked up higher from them and saw 2 more hovering in the background. I looked to my right and saw a yellow lab puppy (what was suposed to be mine)stading on a table wagging it's tail and looking at yet another black bee. Then the puppy opened his mouth and ate the bee. The bee stung the puppy in his mouth and he proceeded to jump down crying with pain.
Now, I don't like dogs very much at all. I'm a cat person and own 3 of them. IF, and I mean IF I were to ever own a dog, or even get near one, it would be a light colored lab. But I think dogs smell and slobber and poo and everything else so I'd think that I would never own a dog at all.
For me, when I think of a big black bee, I'm reminded of Spring and new beginnings, or growth. But the positioning and activities of each bee seems like they all mean something different.
The ex friend I would think would never be at my house alone. She'd always come over with her controling husband. We no longer speak to each other due to a falling out and misunderstanding. I felt this person doesn't deserve to be my friend, so I weeded her from my life. I still work in the same building as this person and have to run into her everyday, or almost.
So 6 bees, 2 doing one thing, 2 doing another, 1 on the ground, one stung the puppy in his mouth......sounds more like a riddle than a dream. Please any ideas are helpful. Thanks

I forgot to say, this dream was one of the most bothersome I've ever had. It's one of those dreams that you remember first thing when you wake up in the morning and think about all day. Even though you'd had many dream all night, this one stands out for what seems like a big reason and you're suposed to figure it out. It's totally symbolinc I'm sure. Not the first one I've ever had so I know.

I believe the bee on the ground represents your ex friend. Cold and injured. The bee that stung the dog after he/she ate it is you. You gave this person trust and got close to this person only to have been bitten. You stung your friend back for this deception. The two other remaining bees probably indicate your time together before all the decption and lies. Hanging out and being productive. Carpenter symbolizes building things. Basically...it is the story of your friendship and falling out with this person. May you find healing from this soured friendship.

CBY...I found something on the web that reminded me of your dream. Although it has nothing to do with the interpretation of your dream...I found it interesting. Do a general search under the key words "The Bat" and "US Military." It is a new spy-type technology in the process...looks like a big metallic bat (could look like a bee).
