Why is it fair for me to have these dreams?

I have a nack of having dreams that come true, and my question is why do I have to dream of suffering and bad things, when others dream of good things that come true? I know I have a few posts about end-of-the World dreams, and I dont condone those because theres absolutly no cetainty on them unitl that time arrives or does not. A good example of a couple im certain on is when I had a dream of pulling tons of body's out of the Mississippi next to New Orleans, even though I never saw anything that said or made evident that "this is New Orleans", yet I knew in my head. Then, 2 months later it happened. I had a similar occurance with the '04 tsunami, went to bed and had a dream that I was in a city and everything came roaring at me, and I saw thousands of dead people gathering around to be judged? when I awoke I actually thought it was a nuclear blast. Later on that day the news broke. Many more as well. Whether you choose to belive me or not, thats for you to decide, I know what I saw. I also dont understand the time gap between what I see, and when the event occurs, its seemingly random.

I don't believe people have these dreams just for the heck of it.

You dream of sufferings and death corresponds to your beliefs of a suffering "God" and therefore the wrath as well.

Watching the "times" it's not unfeasible to think we are there, even if it's only the beginning.

I suppose that could be it, but I think im more interested in how something like this occurs. I wonder why some people are more sensitive to these things than others. Wheras one group of people sleep and have no clue what is coming their way, meanwhile a few people wake up knowing someone elses troubles 2,000 miles away shortly before it happens. That is real question for me. I think it can be explained both ways; religiously and in a scientific sense. One could argue that God has choosen someone to see* such things, and it is that persons job to warn others. While another can say that it is a product of evolution*, the ability to sense danger as a survival mechanism. Survival of the fittest. Those with this 6th sense have the ability to get themselves out of danger vs. those that dont see it coming and get hurt/killed. However that still doesnt answer the fact that most events a person sees doesnt affect the individual at all. Thats quite something to think about.

CBY; I have been having some wierd dreams since ive been reading the Bible; ranging from a garden to me being in a green field watching things [in my post about 3AM I just added as a response]. I dont know if its my mind interperting things the way i see it or what, but I thought i'd point that out. Despite my quote, Ive very, very, recently had some sort of spiritual renewal of sorts. It came from out of the blue. Literally. One day I had a desire to read the Bible, and I dont know why because, quite frankly, it makes me feel like a dumbass reading it, its so complicated, at first, and still is. Im begining to comphrend it though.

I think you just have a heightened sense of awareness that most modern humans either don't have or just disregard. I think this is not so much a psychic ability, but as you say a survival attribute. I don't doubt that early humans had this sense to protect themselves against dangers. Maybe this attribute is actually a genetic throw-back, more than a modern development.

I have dreams not so much of the future but of theories or ways of thinking that open my mind to possibilities. One such dream had this theory.

I think that time doesn't really exist, its man-made and linear you can bend it and twist it but ultimately its still flat, but, the reality of the now is more expansive and more than just linear, think of it as a bubble with infinite points of connection. This bubble is sometimes much bigger for some people than others, and you are always in the middle but somehow connected to the outer surface; I haven't worked out how, I just know that you are. The surface isn't like a real bubble nor is it solid, there isn't as such a defining edge, its very hard to explain something you really don't have the words to describe.

Anyway the reason I say 'think of it as a bubble with infinite points of connection.' is because at any one time and depending upon the decisions we make second to second dictates what happens in the 'Now'
At any one point there may be a glimpse of danger and in your world this sends a signal to you prior to it occurring.

My Sister has these sort of dreams, she dreamt of the shuttle disaster and saw from outside the shuttle like she was floating outside. She was gob smacked to see the event on TV later that day, freaked her out a bit.

I think that it must be frustrating when people do see genuine disasters and can do nothing about it, because either people won't listen and think your a loony or because nothing could have stopped it.

My other Sister was in the Maldives when the tsunami hit, if a friend had phoned to tell her to leave would she have done? we will never know. fortunately one of the young men who worked on the Maldives Helped her and her boyfriend but it was a frightening thing for her.

I think everyone has it; I also think your right when you say people disregard that ability. Most people grow up getting told such things are impossible, but I was lucky to have parents that told me to keep an open mind about things. Therefore the "deactivating switch" never got flipped. I've asked many of my friends and they've had similar expierences; and it seems far more common to dream about personal situations, rather than on a global scale. Your bubble analogy is interesting. But if im going forward in time then does that mean everything is pre-destined to happen, or is it flexible? Obviously we cant control an earthquake or hurricane, but we can have control over our own actions like you stated.

I feel we have infinite possibilities at any given time but some actions or reactions are destined to happen no matter what we do to affect the cause, maybe you see a glimpse of a possibility but not yet hard wired, or maybe sometimes you see events that just cannot be changed and so come to pass as you see them. It can twist one's melon a bit but in my head it seems to have a natural flow and order. You come across as very clear in your thoughts and very self assured with a strong belief in your ability, I think this positivity can give one enormous potential and I hope you can develop this skill more and hone it.

When I dream or see in my minds eye, there is a part of me that understands the dream but as it comes closer to earth it sort of gets interference and I lose a lot of the understanding. This can be very frustrating, I often tell my partner I feel like my brain has a limiter attached, like I know I can think beyond my abilities but I'm being restricted somehow, for whatever reason. A bit like pushing from the inside of a tough bubble, I sometimes think If I could only pop the bubble I could have unlimited abilities, very strange. Me and my bubbles eh! lol!

Something else I sometimes feel is buzzing like my whole body is revving up, the only way I can explain the feeling is like wanting to sneeze and almost getting there but then at the last moment it stops and fades away, god only knows what would happen if I got past that point lol!

i agree with those who believe you have a heightened sense of awareness. God puts each of us on this earth for a purpose, if you question your purpose, ask God--He will provide the answer in due time.

your dreams are purposeful and they are very "direction oriented". i truly believe that because of the shifting of the world as we know it, God is allowing many of us to begin to "sense" change and prepare for it, even through dreaming.
