Yeah I know I've posted a dream on here before, but I can't stop thinking on this exremely bizarre and vivid dream I had last night, that started with me looking up at the sky, while driving down the highway. It was ten o' clock at night, but the sky was strangely bright. It faded into yellow on the horizon.
My mom told me that the state of Virginia had to be evacuated, and I seemed relatively unsurprised, and asked her if she knew of anyone from that state was here in Georgia yet. We drove towards a huge hotel, probably 50 or more stories high. It sort of looked like the Marriot in Atlanta, which it might have been. We were probably driving through Atlanta. All of the sudden, I saw some powerlines right next to us get struck by lighting, and suddenly there was a loud boom, and all of the lights in the hotel flickered on and off. I was scared out of my mind. My mom said, "We don't have much longer...tommorrow is the day when they say we may all die. We got to the hotel, and it was surrounded by military vehicles, and we showed the officers our ID and were let in. There were charts listed on the walls as we climbed up the staircase, that each listed possible catastrophies, some being, violent earthquake, hurricanes, tornadoes, violent ice storm, and so forth. As we walked up, I felt the floor shake, and knew it was almost time. We walked up to a room in the hotel, a very tiny one. I'm guessing that it was only part of a suite or something, and families were only given a certain amount of space, because they had to cram so many into different rooms. From what I've gathered, all families were forced to be in these hotels, as refuge and because of safety in numbers, I guess. There was all kinds of extreme weather predicted for the next day, and there was no stopping it. It was quite terrifying. There was not enough room in the small space for everyone to sleep, so I chose to sleep on a very uncomfortable chair, and consequently, didn't get any sleep at all. It rained the whole night long, and the winds were terrifying and violent. I was right by the window, and the windows, which were both slligthly opened to a crack and jammed, were blowing on my feet, and it nearly froze me to death, but all of the sudden when the sun came back up, I was almost instantly warm again. My family was still asleep, and I walked out of the room. The halls were almost empty. I saw one man with a bible walking down the hall, and a mother and her kids sitting down and crying. I walked a long way towards the end of a hall, and an officer was standing there and yelled at me. He said, "No one is allowed to leave this hotel." I can remember feeling so trapped, and wondered what was going on in the world outside. I heard someone say that the sun was really bright today, and pretty soon, there would be little of it left. This reminded me of a dream I had some time ago, when the sun was nearly gone, and the world was almost completely covered in ice. Everyone was starving...I don't know if it has much to do with this dream though. I looked out the window, and realized that the sun was pretty bright, and thought about the night before, when the sky was still bright, even at night. I walked back to my family's room. They were awake now, and we just sat for a while, and didn't say anything. A lot of action happened in the hours after. We saw officers running up and down the hallways. This really worried me because it made me wonder if someone was plotting to bomb the hotel or something. It wouldn't surprise me at all. It's really hard to say all that happens afterward. I was waking up towards the end, and the details are just way too shaky. This is all I can think of in the dream now, except for some moments that were just too bizarre to describe, really...so yeah, that's it. Anyone had a similar doomsday sort of dream? Yeah...I keep getting these end time dreams almost every night, and it drives me crazy...a different situation each time though. |

Hi Heliotrope,
I believe that your dreams of this repeated nature come with a message for you. I have also had many similar dreams so I guess that's one reason that I believe in your dreams as prophetic. I also think that you can always create your own future - not necessarily be part of this possible future (at that place in time) that you have been shown. I think it's one of many possible futures of yours. If you ask that you wish go elsewhere in your future it's likely that you can manifest that. Tomas |

Interesting. I'm also from the mid-Atlantic and have had a lot of apocalyptic dreams over the years. Many were about tidal waves wiping out the region, some about plants dying out because of extreme heat, killer storms, celestial events, world wars, or --my favorite-- zombie apocalypses.
Actually, I've come to enjoy many of my true end-of-the-world dreams. For me, they've grown to have an almost party feel to them: basically, everyone is going to die anyways so we suddenly set aside our pettiness and have one last round of beers together before the spectacular end. For me, I think these dreams might express a counterpoint to the static, conformist, oppressive parts of human society. Society as we know it gets shaken up --to an extreme (apocalypse)-- and a sense of final freedom results. Not that I am in any way suggesting this is the meaning of *your* end-of-the-world dreams. However, I did want to share my experience with these sorts of motifs, as I also tend to have them quite often. |

my dream was a little different and a lot more odd, i think.
it started with me in an office, and i heard the weather outside from in the office, so i went downstairs and outside to have a look. everyone was looking up at it, and igot the sense of mass panic. the sky had formed a giant storm, with small incredibly fast moving clouds at the outer edges, and a really high "eye" in the middle, of calm air, where i was. in the middle, the air seemed to be split in two, so to me it looked like, where the air met, it looked like looking up at water from underneath. then, lightning struck and took down a skyscraper, then the end if a pier. in my dream, i visited the end of the pier, to interview the victims. everyone seemed to be fine, and they ran me through what had happened, as they were in the middle of a dance recital, in an indoor dance studio, with windows looking over the sea, and a big window looking back at the city (it looked to be london, but london isn't on the coast). the children told us ( me, my father, my g/f and someone elsewhoi seemed to know very well), but as they were telling us, i noticed straight lines of cloud appear over the city. these started to grow and join and become more and more dark. they started to bulge downwards, seemingly heavy with water, and grew a fearsome dark blue, the seas turning almost black with the shadow. slowly, the eye in the storm opened and swelled, like a great void in the middle of the storm, but this time it reached much higher than before. suddenly, all round the world, there was a rising suckin sound, and i clamped my hands over my ears, noone else knew why but i seemed to know what was coming and it was too late to tell them. i glanced last at the tv where there was a news report, before i clamped my eyes shut and the whooshing nois reached a crescendo. there was a deafening explosive noise that went of for about 10 seconds, accompanying it a whole strange set of events. we all got this feeling of a burning feeling passing through us, like radiation. the scene outside went very strange, with all the colours shimmering over each other, but primarily reds and neon colours. the sea dropped in places, stayed the same in others, and some parts of the sky lifted straight up, while the rest dipped a bit. then the noise ended, and the sky and everything else grew dark. i had the feeling that there had been great devastation, but only the windows were gone, the city in the distance seemed to be still standing, as the faint glow from the city and what was left of the sky cast beams through dissapating clouds. all that was left was small incandescent balls of a pink material, raining down, lightly, in a non aggressive way, over most of the sea, but sticking where they landed. like debris from something above, then i woke up. interpretations please, these dream was incredibly vivid, this is hours later and it still feels like its happening, so any interpretations would be great. thanks in advance! |

dear writer, You dream indeed seemed to come true in Atlanta a few days ago. You deserve a commendation for that one. I often refer people from other sites to this web site because it has such a large audience and good writers and visionaries also. Circumstance would suggest the Earths wobble has accentuated. That is, in an accentuated earth wobble the warm fronts move further north and the cold fronts further south producing great storms, superstorms to be more exact covering hundreds or thousands of square miles. Likewise an accentuated earth wobble would increase the number of earthquakes simulteanously, which is indeed occuring. We shall see what Nancy Lieder of the ZetaTalk website has to say about these events in her weekly newsletter published each Sunday. Thanks for listening: Bob Bennett
