Default Hidden Scroll, Sealed, Mystery

This will be a long post so I divided into 3 parts...basically there were 3 dreams. I don't know what catagory these dreams fall into, prophetic, general, mystical, personal...I'll post it, not make any comments on it and if it inspires you great, if you are offended by a belief in GOD...stop reading now and go on reading something more in line with your beliefs and don't bother posting any offensive comments, this is for those who ENJOY reading dreams

DREAM 1: ENCOURAGED AFTER LOSING EVERYTHING

I dreamed the bank made bad business decisions and went out of business. As a result, I lost all of my money I had worked hard and saved for and it wasn't even my fault. I only had a few dollars left in my pocket. I felt like such a looser. I went to a ver old convient store to pick a few food items with the little bit of money I had left. I made a list and walked in. The store was clean but everything was a dingy, dirty, yellow due to age. I picked up some tortilla chips, milk, salsa, eggs, and bread. There was an old man (African American) with old torn brown suit and hat...at one time it was must have been a very nice expensive suit when new. His last name was Williams. The old man said a few encouraging words me and I was comforted.

DREAM 2: PROVING GOD'S EXISTANCE

I was filled with great joy and I felt GOD was with me. Some people still didn't believe in GOD. I set out to change their minds. I was drawn to minister to a piticular single father and his son. They lived out in the country. The father had sacrificed much for his son, but him and his son were left very poor without any provisions and he lost faith in GOD, believing He didn't exist. He had no hope. I pulled into their driveway. The house was run down and derelict, and they both were wearing warm clothes because they had no heat. I walked up to the man and said to him, 'GOD is real.' and imediately the man argued with me, "No he's not, there is no GOD!" I told him I would prove GOD is real, now tell me the exact spot you would want lightining to hit. He told me the left front corner of the concrete porch. I told everybody to stand back. I could feel GOD's Holy Spirit in great power within me. I raised my right hand and gestured for the clouds to come. Suddenly, black storm clouds moved from the West extremely fast and the man became afraid. I pointed to the spot the man indicated and said, 'LORD, send your lightining to hit that exact spot!' and the lightening came down and hit the exact spot I indicated. The man believed. I told him that he and his son can live in the full power of GOD like me. I began to teach him.

DREAM 3: HIDDEN SCROLL, SEALED UNTIL THE APPOINTED TIME

I dreamed people sought my favor but I could less about excessive luxeries people offered me free of charge. I was invited to a very expensive, high class, fine restaurant. The restaurant buliding was hardly recongzible for what it used to be, a big school. I was led to sit in my own exculsive dining room for myself and my friends. I found a piece of old school desk stored in a corner and being curious, I walked up to it and lifted the desk to see if anything left from the school years were left in there. I found a teakwood box with an ancient scroll hidden in it. It was written in Greek, and had some sections in Egyptian Coptic and Hebrew. It was like something was translated into 3 languages and the meaning was hidden, except for those who loved GOD and sought to grow in knowledge in spirit. I already learned much regarding spiritual things and I love GOD and I knew I could use this knowledge and apply it wisely, but I couldn't access it without the woman who had hidden it here when she was a little girl. At that time the school and gov't hated all things of GOD, and anything having to do with GOD the school forbade & conviscated burning and destroying religous jewlery, Bibles, pamplets, even if only for private home use by the student. Any student even mentioning a belief in Jesus was severely punished and publically humilated. So the little girl who inherited the ancient scroll smuggled out of the Middle East by her archeologist grandfather who rescued it from the enimies of the Jews that wanted to destroy it, hid it in the school where she was sure no one would think to look for it, but I found it! The woman was retirement age now and she was speaking with a friend in the restaurant, saying she hid something here and wish she could find it again, to know that it was safe. I told her I found what she had hidden and I knew what it was. She and I sat together in the private dining room and she told me to open the box. When I did, the scroll had changed into 2 decks of cards, each card had a beautiful vivd image on it and they would show you things that were, is, and were to come. She told me to flip through the decks. I realized this knowledge had been unsealed for me. Only one piece was revealed, an image of a house burning to the ground. This is the loss I experienced in my past, the same image she initally got. She had experienced loss of everything too, but it was GOD working for our good, helping us to cut our emotional and spiritual attachments to this world so that we could live in great power in our walk with GOD. GOD restored everything taken from us and plus added more as an award for making Him our highest priority. She had mentioned the name of Williams and I pulled out my grocery list. I had written Williams on it. (My great great Grandfather last name was Williams...I have a photo of him as a young man, he was not African American, he was a business man, had a big handle -bar mustache, I don't know what the connection here is though to Williams...name of an angel or person I will meet maybe? or perhaps the name itself represents something...) I knew I would be applying this knowledge & power, living in the full power of GOD for all of images will be revealed to me and I call it up anytime. It felt like (in the dream only) the cards were proof of GOD because it showed HE knew the past present and future all at once and inspired some Holy men to write down all the major historical events of civilization in exacting detail including exact dates, hours, minutes and seconds, all the way until its end long before any of these things happened. Everything was so clear to me. END.

As I enjoy reading dreams then presumably the invitation in the first paragraph solicits me to read and comment on those fictitious stories you term dreams.

The first is self-explanatory; you suffer acutely from the Cinderfella syndrome and harbouring such deep feelings of inadequacy you require constant parental support.

The second sounds almost the opposite in that it highlights signs of megalomania which, of course, is compensatory for deep profound feelings of inadequacy.

The third dream supports the findings of the other two in revealing a persecution complex, and the element of anti-semitism. The cards mentioned in this dream are not hidden religious scrolls but a set of the 'I Ching'.

You sure sound like a complex character and someone who desparately needed, probably, a father-figure in your formative years. I understand your need to believe.

Jennings, What did Jesus ever do to you that you attack not only those who believe in Him but even interpret dreams where He is present in a hate filled way?

Default The interpretation of the Dream is in Bible itself

Since I read the Bible frequently I can see the influence of GOD's Word in the all 3 dreams & I feel I should post it so you can see where I get most of my influence for my dreams. The BIBLE says GOD is with the lowly in spirit & blessed are the poor, for they shall be satisified.

The first part of the dream represents the past since in the dream I had the sense that the store was a place I used to frequent in the past, but have not in a long time. If you follow the story of the first dream, it clearly states there was a great loss in life iin the past ( and indeed there was) and clearly in the dream I was in a state of hopelessness and mourning but recieved enocouragement and as always, put my complete trust in GOD, and gain encouragement from His promise in the BIBLE...the BIBLE says in Lamentations 3:19 & 21 "The thought of my affliction and homelessness is wormwood (bitterness). But this I call to mind and therefore have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end. " The name William literally means, "(GOD) is the protector of rest, (GOD) is the protector of tranquillity (William: Origin of Name William)

Dream 2 is about doubt. The man and his son represents doubt within myself, for it seemed I was abandoned by GOD forever, just as did the writer of Lamentations felt after he lost everything but GOD made Himself known to me more intimately in that time for lightining has been a symbol for untold thousands of years of Heaven touching the earth. The Bible even calls lightening the finger of GOD. The Greeks saw lightining as a spear of Zeus. Calling down lighting from the sky is a reference to a very popular Bible story. You see Elijah was the last prophet of GOD at a time when King Ahab and Queen Jezebel killed all the prophets of GOD and in their place had worshippers of the demon god Baal, who demanded child sacrifice. Elijah proposed a contest between the GOD of Israel and Baal. He had 2 alters built one to GOD and one to Baal each with a sacrifce on it. Elijah was going to prove which GOD was the real GOD. Whoever's GOD lit the sacrifice on the alter with fire from the sky would be the true GOD and just to be sure no one was cheating, Elijah had several barrels of water poured on the alter to the GOD of Israel. Elijah prayed to the GOD of Israel, the prophets of Baal prayed to Baal but it was the GOD of Israel who sent fire from the sky and lit His alter abalze and also killing all the prophets of Baal. All doubt of as to authenticity of GOD was removed from Israel that day. Likewise, GOD moved powerfully in my life and restored all that I had lost and added even more to it. This removed all doubt in my heart and mind that GOD keeps His promises, GOD says Himself in the Bible, I give and I take away. Whatever I take away I have the power to give back and add more to it.

The 3rd dream is set at an old school that has been transformed into a nice restaurant so it is logical that a transformation is being represented here. School represents upbringing. The school's condition and nature indicates a strict upbringing with perhaps something oppressive & un-nurturing about it, and one that forbids independent study in the Word of GOD as represented by the scroll. So this had to be delayed until I am was in a better enviroment. Life eventually transforms from dark and oppressive to very nuturing and comforting. The woman who used to be a student reprsents the arch typal wise old woman, so she represents Wisdom. The Bible has its orgins in the experiences of the Jews and has spread to the rest of the world who are my teachers, and this is represented in the story of the scroll. Each of the languages represent the journey of the Jews - from Egypt (Egyptian coptic) Hebrew (Israel) and in Judea to the time of Christ (the New Testament was written in Greek). The Old Testament says Wisdom was the first of GOD's creation and without it you cannot know GOD. Thus I could not understand the Bible without first gaining Wisdom. GOD says in the both the OLD and NEW Testament I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA WHO IS, WHO WAS, AND IS TO COME. Thus what is, what was, and what is to come is revealed....everything, what is, what was, and is to come is known by GOD so what was, what is, and what is to come is present in the cards but I could only see what was in the dream. Thus GOD and the Word of GOD is power and the wisdom forever. To apply it to my life is both wisdom and power, not in flesh or blood, but in Spirit as it is written, Not by might, but by my Spirit says GOD.

I failed to see where I said anything offensive about you nor your friend William nor that historical Jewish carpenter from Nazareth; I simply read what your dream was revealing about yourself and your manifest need for authoritative guidance on all that you do. You make an abortitive attempt to analyse your dreams using both figurative and literal meanings to suit your own dispair which raises the question, why then did you post the dreams? It clearly has to do with your fear that you might, once more, be found to be wrong, a thought with which you are always wrestling; if not, why the frantic urge to preach? Obviously you are on the wrong forum. On each occasion that you continue to preach I will take delight in reflecting back to you what you are doing and how it is affecting your own image but while it may be hurtful to you or your cherished William, I will endeavour to be polite and considerate and have regard to your sensitivity.

I also happen to be the carpenter's son and I guess I must too be divine as when others get to know me the say, "Jusus Christ"!

I took offense at the insulting tone of your post...I apologize, I thought what you meant that a belief in Jesus was a pyschological disorder, I mis-read it. Of course since I interpretated as an attack on the belief in Christ, I felt the need to ask why were so offended by Christ, Now you are clearly offensive in the 2nd post. You attack my intepretation of the dream as nonsense? Do you always interprets dreams correctly and no other interpretation other than yours in the correct one?

Default Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks

Rocketsquirrel - I just want to let you know that I enjoy reading dreams others post and the different interpretations of these dreams! I do dream vividly everynight and I'm comforted to know that I'm not the only one going through this. Like you, I don't believe there's a body who has all the answers, however, for me - reading my bible and the knowledge & wisdom it provides helps.

Rocketsquirrel - keep doing what you're doing! Don't let words comming from individuals who hate themselves stop you. You are helping folks like me in ways you can't immagine!

(In my book, one has to hate themselves real bad in order to attempt to belittle others!)
