I've been having recurring dreams of tsunmais for the last five years. All the tsunamis occur on the south coast of the island on which I live. I also live on the south coast, so these waves occur very near to where I live. I remember each dream in great detail, but for me to explain all of them, the post would be too long. The most vivid trademark of the dream of course, is seeing this huge monster wave in the air, unmercifully charging towards the people. In some of the dreams, I see people running and I am running too.
Strangely enough, these dreams stopped after the last major tsunami occured off the indian ocean a few years ago. I also dreamed of a sea surge on the south coast of the island...and weeks later, New Orleans encountered hurricane Katrina. I have not had a tsunami dream in long time. There are several people who live on this island that have claimed to have visions of tsunamis, but I am not the kind of person to make such proclamations. There's also an underwater volcano in the caribbean, which some people believe may cause a tsunami if it erupts. I believe it will happen, but not in my lifetime. I live in a small country, and if we get a tsunami, most of the population, if not all, will die. Some people think that it will have something to do with the wrath of God. I do not believe that. Do you think my dreams are prophetic or just coincidental? |

Hi,
I suppose it's possible to dream of a tsunami hitting somewhere. Anything is possible!! Also, you may want to think about when you had the dreams, and what was going on in your own life at those times. Many people dream of tidal waves and floods when their lives are overwhelming. They subside when the situation subsides. I wish you peace, Bright Dreamer |

I around 20 when they started and had the last one when I was about 24, just before the tsunami hit. Then the dreams stopped. All kinds of things were going on in my life and all kinds of emotions. What was going on at 20 wasn't going on at 24, so I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my life. All that was constant was that during that time I was looking for a steady means of income. I was hopping from one temp job to another.
