Im constantly having dreams of places I will soon visit, they arent exactly the same but stunningly similar to the surroundings I will encounter usually within a month of the dream. I get a physical reaction in my body like virtigo almost for a second or two when I walk into the house or the building I know I saw a few weeks or so ago in a dream. Im new to dream inturpitation and Im wondering if anyone else gets this kind of effect when they encounter something so strikingly similar to their dream, and is there an effective way to use this gift to my advantage. Sometimes (but not all the time) I am good at predicting the outcome of horse racing. On one particular occasion (1970) I was visualising in my mind the race and its outcome and on looking at the field of runners was able to pick out four horses as potential winners. Later that afternoon as the race was being run and televised live what I witnessed on the tv screen was exactly as I had visualised. Of the 4 horses I thought might win I got the first 3 and the 5th (which lost to the 4th by a 'head'). I have done better than this but mainly at horse racing although that incident mentioned was the only time I was able to see the race immediately after visualising it. Gambling does not interest me but predicting the outcome does.

From this anecdotal tale there might just be some way in which you could use your talent to you own gain.

Maybe it's your minds way of familiarizing yourself with a new place. Do you suffer from any kind of anxiety when you go somewhere you have never seen or dreamt about? Maybe there are opportunities for you in these places and you need to try and focus more on what you are dreaming about to find them.
