Nuclear War

Ive had nuclear war dreams ever since I can remember.

One Ive had recently that was of interest was, to make a long dream short, where myself and others fled to the mountains somewhere and could see distant flashes over the hills.

What makes this most recent one interesting was that I returned to Ventura county, CA on leave to visit my family. My mom and I do a lot of hiking and went to an area near Ojai, CA to hike. As soon as I stepped out of the truck a strange feeling came over me then I looked around at the mountains and realized it was the place in my dream. Quite spooky to be honest.

In short, this is just one of my many dreams (mostly nuclear war) where I have ended up in the area the dream took place. I usually wake up in a sweat and cant sleep afterwards. Odd considering that I now work for the Air Force flying on an aircraft that deals with such weapons, and I dread the day that they will have to be used. Im divided about them, on one hand I feel that we shouldnt have them, yet on the other, I know they can be a deterrent.

On a side note, a number of my family members have routinely had dreams where a family member dies in the dream, then the next day they learn the same person had a close brush with death, or died.

Other dreams Ive had are mostly religious, concerning what seems to be a war in the US, where the citizens (not the military) are successful in defending the country.

So who was the aggressor against the US? Very curious about your dream.
