Strange dreams throughout life

I have had a series of odd dreams throughout life but I am most concerned about the latest. Here is a sample of the dreams some seem pointless and others not so much. I usually don't realize the importance or relevance until afterwards.
A few years back I had a dream that I was at a friends house no one was home but there was a little man in a black coat and hat in the living room and there were newspapers stacked against the wall. I was upset that he was there and I told him to leave. He had my friends pet monitor (a lizard) in his hand I told him that it was not his and he said "it is now" then he threw the monitor away in the trash. Late the next day I went to said friends house and learned the lizard had died during the night and had been wrapped in newspaper and thrown in the trash.
Another time I dreamt of my husband before I met him and woe knowing that I had seen the man I would marry. When (unbeknownst to me) my husband was cheating I woke him in the middle of the night to ask "who is Sarah" he blew it of as just a dream and of course I didn't want to think there was anything to it so it was forgotton until the night 6 months later when I found out there WAS a Sarah. He later told me when I woke him up that night, he had not yet slept with her and almost didn't because he was afraid I knew more thatn I was letting on. Unfortunately in the long run, it didn't stop him.
One night I had a dream that I found so humerous I shared with my husband. I had a gun and I was trying to shoot someone (I don't know who) but the bulletts were white and they just kept bouncing off. When I told him this he said that I must have been in his head. A coworker that night (he works 3rd shift) told him how to make a gun for my daughter that shoots miniature marshmallows.
There have been numerous dreams like this but most recently I awoke from a dream that I don't remember but I KNEW that there had been a murder and that the victim was an 80 yr old woman who had been beaten to death by a 32 yr old man. I was so certain of this that I told my husband. About a week later in the paper I read that an 80 yr old woman was missing and I knew it was her. The papers followed that case and when the announced that they had found her dead they did not say at first how she had died. When they later caught the 32 yr old man it was verified that he had bludgeoned her. The thing that bothers me is that when I awoke I had the distict impression that the crime had already been committed but it hadn't yet so now I wonder if I was supposed to do something. Though what I could have done is beyond me as I had no idea WHO she was or where she was from. Why would I have a dream that lacked the important details that may have allowed me to do SOMETHING to help this woman?

Hi, I believe that dreams are given to us to forewarn us,to direct us, and to enlighten and help us and others .When you wake up I suggest that you immediately begin to pray and intercede. Like in the 80 yr old women,alot of times you may not even know the persons but if your given the dream then it must be to do something? do you agree? sounds like you have been given alot to deal with but I encourage you to look at the 9 gifts given in the bible book of Corinthians.
