last night i dreamt of a girl i have never met ... she laughed and joked and had her own personality and inside jokes with a friend of hers.... i knew where she is from and what her name is... before i woke up i saw her name in clear writing on a personal article she had with her .. her name was written in gold writing..... scary thing is .. i googled the name today and it came up the same place the girl in my dream was from.. i'm really spooked and have to say this isn't the first time i have done this .. i once had a few mild predictions in my dreams about occurences in my life that did actuall come to life a short time later.... this dream is different from my other dreams because for some reason i remembered every little detail about her and the dream itself.. i normally do not.... wow i'm dumbfounded.

I too also have similiar dream like yours.
Meeting someone you never met, but living a life you've never been in the dream. You knew alot about her, but once you wake up, you are clueless to where she is, or what her name is.
But the one thing you do believe is that she is real.

I've met this girl few times now in my dream, and everytime we're always in a rommantic situation, as though we have our own private life in a dream world.

And like Rocky said, maybe she is your soulmate. It's somewhat creepy to think but hey it might actually make some sense. Try and remember her name!

I'm intrigued! I have a very active dream life. I fly a lot and explore places and am almost always lucid so I experiment whenever I can, but I have never experienced what you are describing. There are always people I don't recognize in my dreams but I don't know such specific details about them. Where was the girl from? Is it a place you are familiar with?

I've always wished that dream sharing was a true phenomena---tell us some details!!

Well if you dream about her more than once, then you can think you might meet her in real life. Not all dreams happen in real life. You're not going to meet all the people you dream about. Well dreaming about someone then meeting them has happen to me. And I did dream about him more then once.

I think I am losing my mind! Enough to bring me to tears! AM I CRAZY?! I am in love with my fiancé but I am in love with someone else to! I don’t even know his name. I am having these dreams about him. In my dreams he has one mother and a sister my age. We are at a game and he is playing basketball and after the game he is going with his friends out. Know he is my soulmate in my dream and I plead with him not to go because I know he is going to get killed at the game by some gunman who he is arguing with for disrespecting me! I tell him please don’t go and its like me, his mother and his sister know he is going to die at the club and we can not tell him because somehow it is going against …I don’t know but its forbidden that we well him he is going to die but I don’t want to be without him and I am crying and pleading with him not to go to the club because I know that he is my soulmate and if he dies I will be alone for the rest of my natural life. Finally after tears and cried and pleading he does NOT go and he lives and I am happy and I keep telling myself this is not a dream. I am so happy because he is alive and he is with me and it is not a dream. Earlier I was upset because I kept telling myself this is a dream but then after I talked him into not going to the club or the game or wherever he was supposed to be killed at I keep laughing because I am so happy I am with him and I am saying I am not dreaming he is here and everything is fine. We are so happy together and then I woke up and I feel a sadness unlike anything I have ever felt before and I cry because “HE” whoever he is, is not there and I want him back! What is wrong with me? Who is this man I love so much that I cry when I wake up because he is not there? He loved me so much and I felt a love like I have never felt before I mean like 1000 times stronger than I have felt for any man in my life like it was stronger than I think its possible for someone to love on this earth and so strong that I cried when I woke up because he is not there! What is wrong with me? How can I be in love with a person that does not exist? I feel the same way as you feel I am in love with someone in my dreams. IS that even possible?

To the girl who just responded - sweetheart I think the fact that you ARE in love so deeply, and that the women in the dream are family of his - even one your age - reflects that the dream is truly about him.

Literally - try not to compare him to your 'dream man' so hard. Love defies these things some times. I believe your sense of fear and potential for loss are reflections on your truest feelings for this one you love.

If those things don't ring true, try pursuing this inwardly and look at whether you feel there's a destiny for you that you are somehow protecting by this marriage - are you doing it because you feel it's what your life should look like? Even being madly in love is not a reason to be married -- being married is its own decision, entirely separate from being in love.

As for the initial post here, you gentlemen can stop looking for me already, I'm your dream girl. Line starts around the corner...
