I have had a few dreams now... I cannot forget them. You don't have to read them both but at least one.
In one of my dreams, I was walking alone in an attic... It was above the attic in my house. It was very secret and only I knew about it in the family. IN the attic there were old chests and cobwebbed mirrors. I was walking around holding a piece of paper in my hands. I stopped. Something began to carve an image into my paper. Without ink. It was seemingly being pressed into or cut. Suddenly it drew itself for me to see. It was a simple yet haunting cartoon of a vertical rectangle like head with rigid ends, swirly eyes and a zig zag mouth frowned. I had another dream where I was deep underground with a few members of some group. We were all wearing black. We kind of looked like we were from the matrix but not so extreme, it was like we were assasins. I dont know who the members where but I think I may have been close to at least one of them as a friend. The environment was dank and you could hear the dripping of water... (I seem to have cavern dreams with water somewhat often.) The leader comes and he is dressed in all black as we all are.. He comes to look at me. He looks at me into the eyes and his eyes have pupils that have keyholes! I was filled with fear and then the dream ended. I had another dream that I was with my mom and her church friend. This one is a bit ridiculous. The chruch friend tlkas about the danger of a demon, my mom agrees. I laugh. The guy shows me his cellphone with a picture of it and says... Have you ever seen one of these.. I look at it and there is a freaky rabbit thing that screams at me, at first I am terrified but I conjured myw ill and somehow I warded it bysending the force or energy back.. this is similar to my other dream. Have you ever seen Susie Q? Well there is a bridge they go across and it is foggy and ghostly. Well I was in a car with my family, my family is pretty dysfunctional for christians. I was in the back seat. We were all driving down this bridge when by my feet there are cans everywhere as long as by the feet of the backseat next to me, but I am alone in the back seat. I open a can and drink it and it feels as though I am once again filled with horror or fear or that I am trying to be possessed but by my will I cast it off.. What do these dreams mean do they relate to http://www.sleeps.com/forums/dream-i...ation/8828.htm This dream isnt haunting but I had a dream where I was in a small village... A woman dressed in a blue gown, she had brown hair and was in her 20's but was very wise came to me and told me that in this small shack I would find treasures. I felt very connected to her, she was nto my sister or mother but almost felt like she was me in another form, like a spirit guide or familiar if you will. And I am not female which is rather interesting. I began to to go into this old shack and everywhere hidden in everything.. In the dressers, under the dolls heads, beneath the floor..hidden everywhere where yellow rocks! I gave them to the towns people and they where so incredibly generous for just ONE yellow rock! They werent even gold! they looked cheap but had so much value! Then someboy came up to me, he was like me somewhat like a twin or brother and he said "Those aren't for you they are for me. She was supposed to show me now give them to me." Im not sure if he was telling the truth or lieing but I didnt really do anything at that point the dream ended. Please bring light to my dreams, or insight if you so can... |

To give an accurate interpretation, it’s best to have a lot of background information about the dreamer, but by looking at various dreams of a person all at once, certain connected themes can sometimes emerge fairly clearly, so here are a few ideas about some of the potential meanings of your dreams although they might not fit your personal situation too closely in certain ways.
In the first dream you’re in an attic. Generally a house tends to represent the dreamer’s overall personality with different areas symbolizing the state of various traits and aspects of the person. Here, an attic is “high up” in the house and this one is even higher than the usual one. This tends to suggest the mind and thinking in general since these are often associated with “height” and “airiness”. The mirrors (“reflection”) seem to support this idea as well. The other idea connected with an attic relates to things that have been put away and are not seen anymore. This points toward the idea of something being unconscious and not part of your everyday conscious life. The “supernatural” ghost-like writing tends to suggest that this aspect of you, whatever it is, has become too unconscious (“dead” perhaps) and its being in the “high” attic may symbolize a certain dependence on general opinion (society’s “thoughts”) rather than trying to sort things out yourself (unused cobwebbed mirrors). The apparent method of using a sharp instrument might be pointing to the idea of “cutting” thoughts perhaps directed at yourself sometimes. This situation may be depicted as unpleasant and negative because your individual stance in the world could be put at risk unless you reclaim the ability to think and reason yourself at least to a reasonable degree. Just being aware that certain collective opinions might tend to be directing your life too much could possibly be enough to improve the situation. This theme might be part of your other dreams as well. For example, a deep cavern and water usually symbolize a distant hidden part of the dreamer’s unconscious mind similar to what the attic appears to symbolize in your other dream. Again, there is an unpleasant atmosphere. You’re generally shown as helping in the plan to kill someone. The image of a man in a female’s dream often can symbolize her connection with the world of thought and opinion, her general state as to being assertive or not, as well as the condition of her commitment to developing her own genuine potentials. Here the man is frightening, suggesting that perhaps something within is tending to lead you too far away from your truer nature. The keyhole pupils might be the dream’s way of saying something like “Look, the key to understanding your general fears and anxieties about things [the snakes in your other post for example] can be found by looking at me”, that is, at an inner figure who sometimes may try to lead you toward murder of your own self, perhaps through self hurting thoughts that may appear too often. The idea of a demon appears in your next dream, echoing the similar figures above. Perhaps your mother and her friend symbolize your deep feminine instincts that recognize a problem with this inner figure. A guy with a cell phone (which is a technological gadget connected to thinking as opposed to emotions perhaps) in this case helps to make the problem clearer by showing you the rabbit-creature. There are various symbolical meanings connected to rabbits, but in your dreams there seems to be a focusing on some kind of problem related to thoughts and how they’re sometimes negative and dark. In this context, the idea that rabbits are night foragers and connected therefore with the moon, creativity, and intuition might mean that there is a need to trust your own intuition, inspiration and imagination more often. Perhaps you could try writing stories or painting if you don’t already do something like that so that the rabbit-creature becomes less “angry” from being ignored too much. Being driven along while in the back seat of a car often means that the dreamer’s energies are being controlled and directed by the thoughts, beliefs and opinions of others too often either directly or indirectly. The dangerous drink might again be hinting at the idea of the “poison” of not trying to believe in yourself enough and developing your own talents and ideas in an ongoing way. The final dream is especially hard to analyze without knowing more about you and what was happening just before it appeared, but in general, a wise young woman who was like you in another form would tend to represent your full potential as a female overall. This would be much like an acorn which grows into a great oak tree. It’s all inside waiting to unfold under the right circumstances of moisture and sun. The idea would be to keep in touch with this center of your personality perhaps through dreams or more likely by pursuing some basic talent or ability or way of life that you know in your heart of hearts is right for you. Perhaps you are a guy in the dream because the idea of genuine, living, close relationships is in danger of taking a back seat as the result of a flood of “masculine” thoughts and opinions that may not suit you that well in your deepest self. It’s possible that the boy symbolizes your balanced thinking side that should be given the secondary job after relationships of refining and working at the yellow stones to shape them into individual concepts for yourself over time. This might be more appropriate than being a “boy” yourself. Anyway these are just some general ideas, and I hope that at least some of them will help to decipher the personal meaning of your dreams in some way. |
