Default Baby Nightmare

Yesterday was my daughter's first birthday, so I was thinking about her a lot yesterday and trying to make sure that she had a good time. My husband, my baby, and I all took a nap for a couple of hours in the evening after her small party before heading back out to an amusement park for more baby fun. This is when I had the dream.

I went somewhere, I don't remember my husband there, but it seems like there were familiar people there. I was holding Lisa (my one year old daughter), and I put her down in a room and went off to do other things. I was playing catch with a big cat like a leopard or cheetah. I would throw the ball (a big red ball like a kickball) and it would catch the ball in it's mouth and throw the ball back with its paws.

All of a sudden I remembered Lisa. I was panicked that she was just loose and was probably getting into trouble. Sure enough I looked and she was out on the grass crawling toward a lawnmower. The people mowing the grass couldn't see or hear her coming. I started to run to save her from being mowed, but I couldn't get there fast enough. By the time I got there, she was under the lawnmower. The people mowing still didn't even know she was there. I heaved up the lawnmower and there she was, but she was o.k. I took her back inside and she only had a little cut on one of her toes. It was bleeding a little. I remeber saying, "doesn't she have internal injuries though?" That's about when I woke up.

I was very disturbed by this dream, and I still am when I think of it. What does it mean? The place where we are doesn't really have grass. I haven't seen a lawnmower in ages. Why was my baby getting mowed? I would appreciate anything that you can tell me about why I had a dream lke this. Thanks

Becky

Hi,
Dreams about immatured children are about their parents girls is about their mother.
A leopard means a powerful enemy or a big boss, and a ball game means an argument or a quarrel.
So the dream is about you.And foot toe means about your marital situaion, perhaps a dispute or something.
Good luck.

Default wow!

Thanks so much for your answer! My husband and I had been quarreling a lot that day. I do see him as an enemy sometimes, because he puts me down a lot and now he's starting with Lisa saying she's stupid and stuff. He thinks birthdays are not important, but I wanted my daughter's first birthday to be special even if she wouldn't remember everything. We had a particularly big quarrel about buying some special birthday pictures of her at one of those baby dress up places. My dream makes a lot more sense now. He must be the leapord that I was playing ball (arguing) with. The cut toe was also about our fight. Why a lawnmower though? What is the significance of a lawnmower or getting mowed? Thanks again for your answer. I feel a lot better about the dream now. I had been thinking that it meant that Lisa was going to get hurt.

Hi,
Grass ,lawn means religion and beief, and a lawn mower arranges the lawn.
I don't think it as something bad.
anyway whenever you had a bad interpreted dream, remember helping a few homeless people for food or more will turn it slight.
As you know , Once at the Jesus time, when he was passing by a wedding by his followers, He said : today is wedding and tomorrow will be a funeral.
Next day , the followers said there is no funeral.Jesus said lets go to their house. He asked the husband may I see your bride? He was very happy and let them to his bride.Jesus took aside a blanket and a black snake fled.Jesus asked her what have you done Last night? The woman answered , nothing but when everybody was having a good time , there was a poor man at the door and I granted my dinner to him.Jesus said that's why the snake was stopped.
Good luck.

I thought i would post this for you, a experaince i had with my child. After reading everyones post's i thought it might help.

My son who was four years old, had never been to the fair, and the fair grounds were only four blocks from my moms house where we lived at the time. I thought that since he had never been to a fair i would take him, and walked him down there. I made him hold my hand as he was just a little to heavy to carry all the time, and we walked around the grounds.

As we were standing out in front of the double farriswheel he became over excited and pulled his hand from mine, and took off through the line to where the double farriswheel was running. He cut through the crowed up to where it droped off, and where they loaded the people on. I cut through the crowed very rudley to cut him off before he was killed. When i cought him he threw a tantrum like no other child you ever heard, both kicking and screeming as loud as he could. All i could do was put him over my shoulder and carry him through the entire fair grounds like that. I feelt as though everyone thought i was hurting him, and i would be stoped for child abuse. I walked him all the way back up the four blocks to my moms house where she said she could hear him screaming long before we got there, and many of the neibors looked out there windows and came outside to look and see what was going on. Some even came over to the house to find out.

I put him in his room, still screaming and he kept crying for another two hours. All the windows in the house were open too. For just having a little fun, and maybe play a few games, and get something to eat became a big fight between me and my child that seemed to draw way to much attention for what it was.

I had to do that with both my boys when they were little, between the stores and other places. I always found that if anything goes wrong with plans i have, to get out and go home as fast as i can. Ive even had to do that with my ex-wife from time to time. I just put my foot down because if they wanted to have a good time in the first place, and enjoyed my company they would have gotten along with me and each other. In the long run they know me well enough to know not to do that or else we go back home. If there is enough time we start again, but if not we dont go. Oh well.....
