Rotting Corpse of Murdered Little Girl

I can honestly say its been years since I had a nightmare that gave me a very rapid, pounding heartbeat but I had one over the weekend. I used have lucid nightmares in which the spirits of murder victims, still in the same physically gory condition they died in, would come to me saying they were drawn to my light and want me to help them in ways I cannot. I quit having these nightmare years ago. I would pray for these souls, in case they really were the souls of murder victims that mistook me for the Light and usually the multiple visitations from the same spirit or dream character would stop. Before this piticular nightmare, I was working on a painting and the image of a rotten face appeared 'accidentally' and suddenly in the paint.

I dreamed I was driving around a very nice upscale neighborhood filled with stately Victorian homes. When I got of the car and into a house, I realized the spirit of a murdered little girl was trying to communicate to me. As she spoke, I could see her last memories unfold. She was maybe 5 or 6 years old. This Victorian house was the first nice place her family would have ever lived. She was really excieted to move. Here father carried her up to bed as usual, only she never came back. She was hidden away somewhere. I got the impression the father was abusing the child and did away with her so he wouldn't get caught. She didn't realize she was dead until she felt this pressure inside her chest from decomposition. I saw her. She was horrifying sight to see; her eyes rotted out of the sockets, her appearance was largely skeletal, bones and flesh were discolored black with decomposition. She was still wearing the same little dress she was last seen alive in, and even this was slightly deteoriated. I could feel the gentleness of this little soul. She would grab my hand, and her rotteness would leave because my healing energy would flow out of me to her. She told me that when she holds my hand, she believes I can bring her back to life and this is what she wants from me. She said she didn't attach herself to me, that she came to me in a kiss. She was drawn to the tremendous light I shine and she said I was uniquely gifted being able to fully understand the dead completely. I realized not only her request was impossible, I couldn't bring her to life, but it implied that she was trying to take over my soul! Such souls, or dream characters, good or bad intentioned, usually has consequences of me going through a great deal of difficulty...I feel the person's depression, anger, and sorrow. There's a enormous drain on my energy and my life force seems to ebb, like a small AA battery trying to the job of a DD battery and of course, I have horrible re-occurring nightmares with the same dream character or soul. I thought I had put up good protection againist this sort of thing until now. I don't know why this would suddenly re-occur. Any input, especially those who have had similar experiences with spirit beings or such dreams, would be appreicated.

I'm not sure if I really believe in that kind of thing, souls of dead people coming to someone in a dream or vision...but I don't totally disbelieve it either...then again, it could be just a bad dream and for some reason your mind associates something going on in your life with this type of scenario.
Is it possible that your starting to feel stressed or sick or in some way feel a bad time in your life "coming on" and then your dream gives you an explaination for why you're feeling this way rather than just thinking, "hey, I'm feeling down or something"
Or were you fine before the dream and afterward started to feel bad?
Have you tried telling the girl (if you can) that you can't help her and she's hurting you by trying to take your energy? Maybe even if it is just a bad thought, worry that's draining you, you mind will let you rest if you confront the girl?
If you can't, then just pray on it like you mentioned before. It can't hurt and whether you're actually helping a spirit to rest or just resolving the situation in your own mind, it might help.
Sorry your having such a strange, creepy dream. I always thought I didn't think I could handle being one of those people that can talk to the dead, if that's for real!.

I wasn't at all feeling down or feel like some terrible string of bad circumstances were comming my way, this was sudden. You had a very good suggestion, I'll try to remember, next time, if this kind of thing happens again, to explain to the ghost or dream character to please understand that I can't help. I have not had another dream with her in it so I hope the prayer worked. I asked GOD to take her to Heaven, if she is not some fragment of my mind and an actual soul, she doesn't need to be hanging around here on earth clinging to the first person she thinks she can help her.

Since she said she wasn't 'attached' to me but came to me in a kiss, this seems to imply she was haunting someone else when that someone crossed paths with me and she just decided to go with someone else.

The human mind has to scare us in order to get our attention sometimes, this going with whats in your life. The draining of the life force is the kiss, its really wisdom in what your doing. In life we learn by what we do, that we are not always in control of everything, and these events pull us down to teach us to be more self sufficiant. The kiss is something that is being taken from you, and the ghost is someone in the background, or events unfolding. Being brought back, or being brought to you becaue of the kiss, is something that you already had done that might be happening again, or your actions havent changed from the last time to prevent it.

Since a child would have no reason to come back to life or seek out the power of someone who could bring them back means its a bad spirit, something transparent to the eye which wants to live again. Most religions now recognize children have no need of baptism and dont go to hell. Whatever life force is going on in or around your life is trying to repeat itself, and you mind has picked up on the indicators that want to lead up to this event.

Whatever fell apart before wants to fall apart again, and you need to take a good look at what took place before in your life. Its possible That someone you know, or knew is using your life force by trying to atatch themselves to you or use you. Sometimes people in the background believe no one can see them and what they are doing, and might lie about you to gain ground in what they are doing. You might want to take a look around and see who was there last time and who is here this time.

As I was reading your dream I was thinking it odd that the spirit of a child of this age would linger about on earth, when heaven is her lot. So, I think that this wasn't a child, but something other.

As strange as it sounds, fallen angels (demons) can enter our dreams. I don't know if this was the case here, but it seems unlikely that a merciful God would allow an innocent soul to remain lost and roaming about the world. Evil entities, however, do roam the world seeking the ruin of men and women. They imitate that which is good in order to deceive; and they would not hesitate to appear to you as a child in order to gain your sympathy and trust.

This child may be a ruse to lead from the true path--such as to involving you in a false form of spirtualism or something occult. The way this child was attracted to your light might be a way to feed your pride over the notion that a lost spirit would attach itself to the brightness of your own goodness. I'm not slamming you in any way. We are all guilty of excess pride . and I know that I'd probably gloat all over myself for a while if I had a similar encounter.

I really have no idea if you fall into any of these categories. But to think that you have any power of your own to lead the dead home, outside of your prayers rising up to the ears of our Heavenly Father, is simply illusion. Maybe an evil entity is behind this dream, maybe not. But I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Anyway, whenever a child is in need of help, I understand how hard this can be to let go. If you just can't, and are worried that you are letting down a real little girl, include her in your prayers to the Lord as a victim and nameless suffering soul for Him to take home, but realize that she is possibly a product of deception. You can allieve your guilt this way and at the same time, your prayer will be applied to a soul as God sees fit.

If it should happen to appear to you again, don't engage "her" in dialogue, speak to "her" directly or give "her" any attention. Act as if "she" isn't there at all and simply pray, "May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen."

I can't say that my advice is the best out there, but this is how I'd handle it in your situation (but I've never been in your situation exactly). I did have a soul appear to me in a dream asking for prayers--that's the closest I come to matching your experience.

This was too cohesive and detailed a dream to be a regular dream. Something outside was operating on you. This is just my very fallible opinion, as is the rest of this post.
