A few weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night, scared out of my wits.

I had been dreaming that my mother and I (and one of the guys she's been dating... I don't remember which one) were standing in our kitchen. She had just gotten into a fight with my little brother, and he'd gone outside to put some things in the truck. He and I were supposed to go somewhere. And then my mom told me that she was so mad at him that she'd planted a bomb in his head. And I looked out the open door to where he was, over by the truck. I was freaking out in the dream, wondering if I should run out and try to diffuse the bomb somehow, but dream!me knew that it was about to go off. Not sure how. And I was in the process of freaking out, imagining his head exploding, when I woke up.
