Default The Nightmare... In the End men become mutant cyborgs

Hi I am 24 year old female from USA
Once a year since I was 13 I have had the nightmare. Humans had messed up the ozone layer so bad that it was time for the sun to finally die. I always end up at a certain point in the dream: The sky is black and the moon is bloodyredand the clouds greywith swirls of red. There was a war going on. I was on this large open space outside. The artifcial lights were losing their powers hard to see. Then 1000's of them came... the mutant cyborgs. These use to be men but because of radiation and the war they had changed. It was scary as hell I could see their skin was burnt and oozing they were green and black.. those eyes were so evil filled with so much hate. Where there should have been white was black and the pupils red. They march and they were ready to attack with their guns in hands they were still in their uniforms. There were getting closer. I look at my clothes they were white and Ihave the redcross sewn into white jacket. Then the cries start tremblingi n my ears. I turned around and there they were the little children. They were the ones crying. They appeared to be the little brown children from third world countries. I tell them they will be ok I will protect them. But HOW??! there are so many of the cyborgs and onlyone me to saveall these children... apparently the radiation didn't affect them only the men. Out of no where I became brave and knew that this wasmy purpose I had to save them. The men march and were only a few feet away from us. One of the men charged and tried to run at me I thought I was going to die but then he hit something and fell a few inches away from me. There was some sort of shield protecting the children and me. I tell the children to staybehind me that they are ok but if they step past me then I could no longer protect them. It all became black and then I wake up. So yeah this night mare happens once a yearI don't know why I have to see it. My dreams are always crazy. Just thought I would share..

Well dreams can link to real life issues. Think about how the issue f ozone depletion and environmental damage featured in your life before the dream. Was there some new strong feelings rising to the surface at the time of the dream? Did you hear about some new evidence concerning global warming or something like that?

Think about the day before the dream. What strong emotions did you feel then? Dreams especially link to the day before the dream. So look for strong issues and events that could have triggered a dream.

Dreams can be premonitions. But many dreams that seem like premonitions may simply be about situations and feelings from yesterday (as we think over the previous days events). So itÂ’s best to assume that a dream is about the day before and is personal and psychological in its origin. ItÂ’s easy to jump to conclusions about premonitions. Generally itÂ’s best to wait and see.

In truth itÂ’s not easy to interpret a dream especially if its not your own. A dream symbol may often link to various meanings that we can obtain from an ordinary dictionary. Dream symbols then are used as words.

A famous person may symbolize a situation where you are made to feel special. So see how you felt special or wished to feel special. But the trouble is that the words (symbols) that dreams use are difficult to understand both on their own and together (as a set of dream symbols).

Think of the word famous. Does a dream with a famous person make it easy to understand the meaning of the dream? The answer has to be no. Firstly, a famous person may link too many meaning commonly used in ordinary dictionaries. Think of the many different contexts that the word appears: "Those were his famous last words"; "He made me feel special and important - I felt like a film star"; "I really wish to become famous". So making sweeping judgments about dream symbols is pointless. A dream symbol is used in so many contexts and in such a sophisticated way that you really have to interpret it with caution.

But the study of dreams is not so pointless. We can by experience understand that dreams are very much of the moment. Dreams are linked to the way the mind studies situations. They are linked to our intuitions. The dream mind is also conceptual in its thinking so expect whatever comes out of it to be an idea or well thought out feeling. Actually the best way to interpret a dream is to write down several sentences which sum up your current feelings about yesterdays events. Add some more sentences which capture your feelings about the day to come and the future in general. You will probably end up with three or four sentences such as "I really hate the way that my sister gets me to take the blame" or "I feel really worried about my exam tomorrow" or "I wonder if my friend is unhappy as she is very quiet and acting oddly right now". ItÂ’s likely that one of these conceptual thoughts is the dreams actual meaning. Try to spot links with the dream symbols various meanings and real life. If two or three symbols match up then you have a possible interpretation.

ItÂ’s still not easy. A dream may not contain any direct connection to the situation it is about.
