Default I only have nightmares

It's wierd. I've don't remember having a nice dream... my nightmares are almost everynight and they come in all different stories. From my little sister being raped to me drowning in a pool of meat and blood...
There are so many different nightmares that I've had... I'll start with this one:

So in my nightmare I find myself in some kind of sewer. It's really dark and it smells of metal and raw meat. I can kind of see what's around me. There's rusted walls and the "sewer water" that I'm standing in is actually blood. It's up to my waist and I'm trying to find my way out of this sewer. I look up and see that the walls go as high as I can see. The walls are made out of rusty metal and metal fence. On the sides of the sewer I can see mutilated and rotten bodies and body parts which are bleeding into the blood that I'm walking through. The air is hot and heavy and I finally find an open rusty metal barred door. I climb in (the entrance is maybe half my size) and I'm in a small cavity in the wall that i can barely fit my shoulders in. then I start to climb up the metal fence and I climb higher and higher. I don't care where it goes, as long as I'm out of that sewer. When I get to the top I see a hallway on the other side of the cramped cavity. I see two or three people walk by and they're in black suits. I scream at them hysterically asking them to get me out. They turn and look at me and just stare at me. They're not even trying to help me and I'm covered in blood and dirt....

That's all I remember... I assure you my other dreams are just as bad or worse... Why can't I just have a nice dream about sunny beaches??

Hi,
you are right, this is a real nightmare.
Being in a sewer and bad smell water means an illness and rusted walls means a deep sorrow.
If you want to rescue from this situation, please help a few homeless people, and ask forgiveness God ( 100 times)also pray more.
In this way surely you will rscue.
No human can help in such situations except God.
These two small prayers are very useful too.

(The dawn)
In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful.

1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn.
2. From the evil of what He has created,
3. And from the evil of the utterly dark night when he comes,
4. And from the evil of those who blow on knots,
5. And from the evil of the envious when he envies.

(The men)
In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful.
1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
2. The king of men,
3. The God of men,
4. From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Satan),
5. Who whispers into the hearts of men,
6. From among the jinn and the men.

The cow 2:62

In the name of God
Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the christens, and the Sabians, whoever believes in God and the last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.

Well i dont dream that often or at least not that i remember that often but I couldnt imagine having nightmares everynight. I know there are research centers who do studies on that kind of thing. Or maybe a hypnotherapist could help. Ive never been hypnotized, but I want to. The thing about hypnotism is that it helps explore your unconsious and that is where these dreams or nightmares are coming from. Maybe something like that could help you evaluate you emotions and things that have been happening to you lately. Hopefully from this you can find out what your unconsious is trying to tell you. Good luck.

Try to cut back on TV/computer right before bed, and don't eat at least 2 hours before going to bed.
Also, try not to read or watch scary things (I dunno if you do now, but just incase).
Um, make sure you're eating right. Healthy, balanced diet, plenty of water.
Clear your mind before you sleep, don't go to bed angry or upset if possible.
Oh, and no drugs (If you're using them, haha.)

Well I sure do hope that these things help you get some nice dreams.
Let me know, okay?

If you talk to someone you know, and they dont listen, you might try talking louder or even pushing on them to get them to pay attention long enough to listen. When none of that works there is always whats called shock tactics, and thats normally a unreasonable statment that gets the attention of the person your speaking too. If you ever used that, thats what your mind is doing to get your attention. Once you listen they will turn into the sunny beach's.

Your dream really sounds as if your depressed, or maybe feeling depressed. Stuck in the same old, same old all the time. Maybe the feeling of being stuck because of commitments you have. You might want to make the time, or arangments to be able to excape once in a while and have some fun.

Symbolically the blood is what holds us to this world, without it we wouldnt be alive. Without it no life would be given to it. There may be periods of time that you dont feel like you should, and waiting may seem like a burden to you. Barbed wire symbolizes a barier no one is supposed to pass, and only you can get through it. The men you yelled for help from symbolize no sympathy or recognition of the situation, or what you might be going through. It also might symbolize that it may not make any difference after you get though it, meaning there may be no one there for you. So the hole dream just might symbolize depression of being lonely.

Shoulders symbolize burden, and this goes with the men in black suits. The men in black suits symbolize the lifing of a burden. The other symbol for this would be yoked, and yoked is to be evenly yoked or unevenly yoked together. So if there are others around you, the balance would be off, and would be unevenly yoked together. We are supposed to be evenly yoked, or in agreement with each other. So the leading of the dream seems to indicate to seek out others who would agree with you or maybe get along with you.

You have to deal with the issues you have in real life. What is bothering you? Do you hate your job/family life/home..etc??? Make some changes in your life that make you feel good about yourself. even if it means you start going to the gym once a week. But you need to make the change..

I used to dream about insects a lot, lots of different kinds of insects. One dream i was trying to clear all these insect from somewhere, but there were too many.... Interpretation:something was bugging me!! And that was the truth, my upstairs neighbour was really bugging me, he shouted at me, made lots of noise, really made me hate living there, so i moved!! and i have never had an insect dream since.

I hope this helps you..

Smile

those are really horrible nightmares your having especially having them all the time. it must really get you down and take all the joy and happiness out of your world.

perhaps a wholistic approach might help i.e the physical, mental and spiritual.

the physical would include diet and exercise. the mental - what you think about, read, watch and talk about. the spiritual would include - activities that break spiritual law i.e that religious an seemingly stupid and foolish word "sin" .

food allergies not only create havoc with the body but can also severly affect the mind and therefore the spirit. my sugestion is to go to the library and see what you can find. I had some health problems lately and found out through reading and dream interpretation that certain foods which seem quite harmless would cause asthma, depression, exema, headaches, bad dreams etc. everyone is different so you will have to do your own detective work. i had to keep a diary of everthing i ate and when. i recorded every change in my physical condition eg. flushes, elevated heart rate, dry skin, itches, nightmares, suicidal thoughts, aches and pains etc. i also kept a dream diary of every dream that had food in it and looked for clues.

if some food allergies eg peanuts can bring about someones death they surely can affect your quality of sleep. it took me at least 12 mths to find out my allergens but it has paid off immeasurably.

others have mentioned eliminating junk food etc and not eating a couple of hours before bed, avoidence of drugs etc. these are very good suggestions.
you could try some herbal remedies that may help you to relax you. though they might not stop the nightmares will help you with any anxiety or stress caused by them. i have found that St John's Wort to be vary helpful. it's recommended by Beyond Blue - Australia's no 1 organization that helps depression sufferers. I'm not suggesting your depressed however i think it would be quite normal to become depressed because of your constant nightmares.

i also think that you need to avoid all tv shows, movies etc. that contain violence, horror, especially if you sympathise with a character and start
feeling their anger, envy, revengeful feelings etc. try just watching comedies, PG movies for a while and see what happens.

i don't how your spiritual life is but i know that if there are any of the seven deadly sins nested in your heart it sure doesn't help things. if there's anger and hatred your going to see alot of blood and death in your dreams. whatever it is, it is going to take some self reflection on your behalf. this takes time and a great deal of effort. if there is an area you know of, read some self-help books on the topic or even better shop around for a good counsellor, someone who you feel comfortable with.

it also sounds as if your stuck and not able to help yourself. and it maybe perhaps you need to forget your dreams. well at least not to dwell on them but to workout what needs fixing in your life, what makes you unhappy, what your fears are and taking small steps towards making a happier life for yourself and having faith in yourself and in God (if you can believe because he is good to have as a foundation) and all of this in a spirit of love.

I would lastly strongly advise you to find a counsellor of some description.

God bless and a good life.

Smile what a horrible dream.

Nightmares are the worst, but they also tend to be the few dreams I actually remember. I always to try to deal with them the day after they happen so that they do not become recurring dreams for me. When I wake up, I try to write down the most significant parts of the dream. Throughout my day, I try to think of what I did the night before that may have caused me to dream such disturbing dreams (for ex. eating right before bed, stressing out about work right before bed, thinking about personal issues I have with other people before trying to sleep). I also find that looking up specific details of the dream in a dream dictionary helps a lot- sometimes, I read the significance of certain details and I say "Ah ha! That's why."

Trust me, it's reassuring to know that you aren't messed up because you are having a lot of bad dreams. I used to have a nightmare almost every night. Here are some of the things I do to sleep more soundly:

1. I do not eat late
2. I read poetry about nature right before drifting off
3. I will watch a feel-good movie before sleeping
4. I try to clear my head of all stresses in my life by taking a few calming breaths
5. I make a to-do list for the next day (this is my personal fav)

I hope this helps you!

When I have dreams that I actually remember, they are almost always nightmares. It drives me nuts. Why can't they be good dreams??

I feel your pain

Default Nightmares

The first time I went to Iraq I had nightmares for about 3 months straight 1 month after we got back, this time, I've consistently had nightmares every night since I've been back.
Many of them have to do with some how ending up back in the military again, and not being able to understand how they still have their clutches on me.
