Hello Everyone,
This is my first post so forgive me if it's not quite right. My Dream is quite brief but very unsettling. I dreamed I was a teenage girl but it was not the real me in my youth and my (dream) mother was putting a blue checked apron over my head. I allowed this to happen, but when it was on, I realised it was some sort of restraining device and my mother began to force feed me. I felt very scared, and then the dream changed to me trying and failing to put this apron on my mother. Once I realised it wasn't going to work, I tried to explain I was trying to make her see how it felt, but knew she was furious and retribution would follow. I kind of knew she had a psychosis or something too. I have no issues with my mum in waking life, but I am feeling the strain in my personal life at the moment. Hope somebody can help explain & thanks |

Hi!
I'm definitely not a dream expert, but I was trying to think of some sort of explanation regarding your dream. I do have a question for you, if you want to answer. You said you were having issues in your personal life...might they have anything to do with body image or self-esteem issues? Just curious...no need to answer if you don't want to. Take care and thanks for posting your dream!!!! |

Hello,
No I've no probs with body issues at all. I'm very lucky to be tall and the correct weight for my height. My Personal issues are having no time for myself (have to work, manage a family , keep a house tidy, walk my dog, and renovate a property I own all at the same time as having a very ill father) I know I'm a bit down at the mo, it's funny really, maybe I can analyse this myself - Looks like I have "so much on my plate" I can't really cope with everything all at once. Thanks for taking the time to reply, Dreamer |
