Hi Everyone,
I have been having terrible very bizzare dreams lately...probably for the past 2 months, and on and off for the past 15 years of my life. Basically the general theme of this nightmare is the end of the world or human existance. The nightmare I had last night was as follows. I am living by the ocean in a beautiful house. My house faces a little lagoon like area that is surrounded by rocks. In my dream I sit on the shore and relax and see some people out in the water. I then decide I want to swim. I go into the water and I am swimming. I notice this man who is on the water, struggling with a canoe. I decide to get into the canoe and help him move the canoe much faster. I do this and I get to the shore. When I get to the shore of the main beach I notice that it looks like I am in Ireland or in Scotland, by the cliffs. I see many people on the beach and sitting off the side of the cliff. They are all wearing black. I hear some people talking and I hear that there has been some kind of prophecy made but no one really understands it. To the best that I can recall it says that the "Henwareway will come and take us away" and then something about gold and treasure or something....I cant remember. My boyfriend is on the beach now with me. I notice that there are people gathered around a stone pedestal that looks like there are 6 shapes engraved in various shapes. I notice someone goes and picks up a black iron look rock and places it into one of the shapes, I then see that there are several more of these iron rocks...they are not all rocks some are objects. One was an iron statue of a naked woman posing on her side and another was a piece of scrap metal. I put all these objects into the pedestal. Then we rotate the pedestal. As soon as we hear the sound of a roar. The pedestal begins to move through the ground towards a Water well. The pedestal somehow is locked into the water well and begins to move downwards into it. Then we all hear this voice. "those who make the sign of the cross upon their chests will be saved from the Henwareway, those who do not will perish"....it was something to that effect. So naturally I begin to run away and feel like there is a blackness coming behind me to get me...and all I hear is screams and the ground rumbling and shaking and this blackness. I feel fear and regret. Then i woke up. I have no idea what this "henwareway" thing is at all....i have never even heard of it. But for those of you who have experience with interpretation, please let me know what you think this all mean. Thanks! ~ Mori |

Henware is a black seaweed eaten in Europe....also called murlins...murlins sounds like merlin...a mythical magican with prophetic ability and there are prophetic elements in your dream.
The begining of you dream indicates that you at ease in your life. Deciding to go out for a swim sounds like you are 'testing the waters'..like you are trying to explore a relationship outside of your comfort zone. The man in the canoe...I wonder if he is someone you have met in your life and have begun a relationship with...a relationship that seems to just drag along slowly...but you would like to speed it up...Scotland is famous for its psychics, the mention of a prophecy, the reference to merlin (a play off of 'murlin' another word for henware) all seem to indicate you are being warned about a future event with severe consequences (this is emphasized by the black color). Iron represents heavy handedness, oppression...and the woman on her side...is you, being overcome by oppressive nature of the relationship. Every aspect of the relationship becomes such a burden, so oppressive, you become swallowed up by complete and utter darkness. You end up regretting the relationship and living in fear in it. It sounds like the only chance of rescue is to seek God in prayer (only those who make the sign of the cross) because the emotional impact is so severe only faith can get you through it.
