Default What Does It Mean?????

Hello eveyone
I am new here and need someone to talk to. I am 27 years old and still been having the same dreams. I grew up in a house that was built in back of a cemetary. My granfather lived in that house since he was a little boy. Well in my one of my dreams the stair well had a opening in the stairs and the room was black and I can not see anything I won't go in the room everytime I dream it. Well growing up there was no opening in the stair well but before I was born there used to be a room my grandmother said she said it was like a closet. That totally freaks me out. How can I dreams of that room if I didn't see it only in my dreams. I grew up in a Christian church and some of the fellow members would come over well another part in my dream I am upstairs in my room a I get lifted off my bed and I am floating down the stairs and screaming but noone hears me as I pass by them in the kithen while they are reading the bible. Then somehow I wake up I think and just laying in my bed and I can hear people talking like they are right there in my room I get scared just laying there and them I get up and look out the window and I see the cemetary and I can see figures. I am so freaked out about these dreams because they seem so real and I think they are messing with my head til this day any advice or anything I need all the help I can get

The dream suggests a situation in which your mind has provided you with a particular point of view (the room opening in the stairs) – one suggesting a way of thinking that has no place in the here and now. (when growing up there was no opening there) This room represents a point of view or mental attitude that is very unenlightened and not one to be used. (won’t go in it) The room is black indicating an absence of light or intelligence. The location of the room can suggest a point of view associated with the steps or method of procedure that leads to a gaining or winning position. (an opening in the stairs) Yet the house in which this room or unenlightened point of view is found, itself would indicate a situation or state of mind that may be deserving of respect. (grandparents house) While this room or point of view today seems out of place, in the past it was not. (used to be a room there) By associating the room with “a closet”, the point of view being referred to may well be one pertaining to the issue of prayer. The presence of Christians reading the Bible as well as this statement in Matthew 6:6 – “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,….” would tend to suggest this.

Coming of your own personal way of thinking that appears more intelligent (upstairs in my room) you find yourself taken up with God (floating on air) – preoccupied with God in a way that has no rational grounds to support this and see yourself in a losing position. (floating down the stairs) This alarms you (screaming) yet there is an aspect of yourself that is into Christian fellowship or Christian teachings (the Christian church members reading the Bible) that does not take any note of your alarm. This is an aspect of yourself that uses a point of view focused upon plans that will give emotional satisfaction in future. (pass them in the kitchen)

You feel that you have woken up (I wake up I think) – that you have come to a greater state of awareness and are resting very at ease with your personal way of thinking but not completely at ease. (lying in my bed - but awake) “Hearing people talk like they are right there in my room” implies you are hearing their voices while not seeing the physical people. This can suggest hearing what people have said in your presence like a memory in the mind. You cannot remain at ease with you position or attitude (I get up) and may need to look out or watch out (look out the window). The figures in the cemetery seem to suggest spirit figures and can simply imply that the dead are not resting in peace. [This would apply particularly to deceased family members. Have you abandoned the beliefs you were taught when young? This can become a source of psychological disturbance such as can be manifested by having the same disturbing dreams over and over. You appear to have strong psychic family connections as is evidenced by dreaming of a room only grandmother knew about.]

The house where you grew up represents your mind, and more specifically the world view you learned as you grew up. To discover a new room in the house means acquiring a new "mental aspect", but for you the room is dark. I feel that you want to question the values and/or the religion that you were taught as a child, but feel that by doing so you are undermining your whole world view, and your feelings about your family. Adulthood is a time to think for yourself. Expand yourself by being open to new thoughts and ideas, even if it means questioning the truth of your parents' and grandparents' beliefs. This is not disloyalty, it is simply following your own path and finding your own truth. Don't be afraid. Good luck.
